I have a different problem. I have the ATS FAIL message always on the annunciator. I don't what I need to do. With this FAIL message I am not able to use ATS.

Ok. I got it . I need to do Autothrottle disconnect. Now it works. Thx.

To be precise: The ATS FAIL light is now out on ground. But I cannot get ATS to work in flight. I push the ATS knob, nothing happens.

What do I have to do to make autothrust work?

:(Unfortunately, I am STILL having problems with the ATS.

None of the buttons is making the N1 TO come on.

I'm having some problems with the FLCH in the AP also.

Hello,

The ATS will fail when you test the reversers as part of the normal procedures. When the annunciator says FAIL disconnect the ATS using the buttons on the back of the throttles (or a key binded to autothrottle disconnect). Then you may re-enable it by pressing TOGA.

Brgds

Thank you! Now it works for me :)

ATS fail annunciator - can't extinguish it. It's on as soon as I fire up the APU generator at startup. I tried:

- Clearing the warning

- Engaging (arm) the ATS

- Engaging and disengaging A/P

- ATS disconnect and TOGA

It won't arm because you've no takeoff N1 value. Enter the temperature in your thrust limit page and try again.

I have the ATS FAIL caution message displayed. It’s the fusion. On the PFD it’s say FCM error. Do I need to input the temperature for ATS to work on the ground? Or is it a complete failure ?
