In which case it is not installed correctly. Post the Log.txt again. I don't know, your sim is acting unlike any user's we've seen since the product was released. I suggest creating a new airframe from the Airframe Manager.

I just purchased and installed the Take Command SR22 G1000 and not having much luck with it. I can select it and end up in the plane. Unable to start so I assume no battery or gas, but I cannot pull up the aircraft menu. When I click on Toggle, nothing happens. If I toggle electrical or engine, both of those will come up fine. Am I missing something or doing something wrong? Thanks, David

Volanta is a know cause of crashes. Remove the plugin

Gizmo is not the problem, one of your other numerous (some of which are known to cause crashes) plugins is - possibly in combination with Gizmo. You will need to remove all of them temporarily (remove them, disable is not enough) and then run only vanilla X-Plane (the way it was when you first installed it) PLUS the ixeg 737. Then see if it crashes. Then add one plugin back after the other until the crash happens, then we have found the conflict. Once we know which plugin causes the conflict, one knows where to look for the problem to fix it.

@Jim Michael I am finally back to flying, and my machine is running better than it ever has. I wound up throwing enough money at the problem. First, let's address your suspected issue. Your CPU is apparently damaged. Don't get your panties in a bunch; there is a fix (I enjoy being long-winded some days. I realize I could answer in 2 or 3 sentences) You will need to contact Intel and RMA the CPU. Unfortunately, you'll have to jump through the hoops that they'll put in front of you. If you're lucky, you may be able to return the CPU to the store it came from. I'd had mine for 3 months before the damage got unbearable. Yup! That's the fix. A new CPU. Here's my take on the CPU issue. Intel's CPU overheat protection system apparently does a terrible job. It's supposed to throttle down to avoid overheating. Mine apparently did throttle down because the system felt much slower than it should have, but I kinda ignored it It didn't throttle down enough to avoid heat damage. Why did your CPU overheat, you may ask. That's a great question. I choose an air-cooler. I'd read good things about the Noctua NH-D15 cooler, but the heat from the I9-14900 family was apparently no match for it. I bought a 2nd I9-14900 (the KF version as opposed to the K this time) and was able to run X-Plane beautifully with the NH-D15 installed. Since Intel claimed the issue was heat damage, I decided to go with a water cooler, the Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360. To my astonishment, the computer seemed to run much, much faster. I can finally see 80 & 90 FPS with relatively high graphics settings (albeit in cruise only). I'd never seen more than 45 FPS with the air cooler and Vatsim was a non-starter since I couldn't keep 20+ FPS, Anyhoo, I finally got my I9-14900K from intel, swapped it back in the computer and I couldn't be happier. I should mention that it took about 3-4 weeks from start to finish with Intel. Seems their reply time, (in my case) was about 3 or 4 days. Each email was prefaced with an apology for the delay in responding. Maybe they've sped up the response by now. Here's the reply you'd hoped I'd given - Heat damage. RMA or return the CPU, get a good water cooler. Hope this helps and good luck!

Heyo, Everytime I try fly the IXEG I get CTD. I tried re-install everything without any success. After installation of IXEG my XP keeps on chrashing, after removing it XP runs normally. I narrowed it down to most likely being Gizmo causing the chrash, however a bit uncertain. Appriciate your help. Log 1 is chrash after the first circut on final. Log 2 is imidiate after with CTD during loading Log1.txt Log2.txt

I found a sit inside the cockpit button and the message to install Avitab plug in still shows up. I installed the links you sent me and no checklist on the ipad still. Why wont the door open too? They should show this on the promo video if this is how it performs. at least how to fix it.

just a shot of the door hovering, it will not open. I only exited the plane to install the Avitab plug in and it won't let me open the door to get back in. The issue with the altimeter is being caused by the 650, I removed it from X plane 12 and it fixed the issue. I kept it in 11 and it still exist, so that is what's causing the altimeter issue. Should I remove and reinstall the 650? I would like to get to learn the airplane and eventually fly it.

Actually it seems to be working as intended now. I just removed that prefs.txt file and started the sim again. Message no longer pops up.

I will attach a screenshot of the dialog box as well as the X-Plane Log. I continually get this error even after changing the said directory permissions to read/write. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Log.txt

I have nearly the exact same issue you did. I am running an NVidia 4070 and I-9 14900 cpu. I swapped out the g790 motherboard and the NVIDIA 4070 with new ones. Still crashing regularly. I ran Intels diagnostic cu check code for many hours and it passes with zero errors. I am at wits end with setting up X-plane 12 on a brand new $2000 machine!

All I can say on that is work is ongoing. No ETA at this time.

Regarding AOA, make sure you are opening the AOA indicator fully, also lower graphics settings with X-Plane might prevent it from rendering properly. Regarding popups, it sounds like you opened the popups in the fully popped-out mode where they become OS windows instead of windows within X-Plane. Clicking in the upper right corner of the popup should bring the popup back in-sim from an OS window.

It's all done now. I had to give full permission to the terminal on macOS. Cheers Pils for your help
