I've just installed 1.9 and it does not load when XP12.41 start up procedure, aircraft selection to CL650 has been made, gone through the CL650 start up selections.....and I end up with a gray screen. I check within the CL650 version info in the CL650 and other than identifying 1.9.0 there is nothing there. Please advise. Thank you.

  7. As this topic got unlocked again, I guess questions about the update are OK to post here. Nice update, thanks for that! When installing the new version (on Windows), will all settings, state etc. from the former installation be preserved? Generally, a note "how to perform the update" should be part of any release announcement so people can see wether it's a no-brainer (just install "over" previous version, settings preserved) or involves effort to get into a "usable state" again.   9. updated to ver1.9 of cl650 and get VNAV sensor failure message. ECAS on MFD shows FDR fail in white. How do i clear it.
  10. I can't install the new update. I run the Windows installer and am asked to enter email address. I enter my email followed by next. I get a message must enter value. Can't get any further.
  11. Say intentions connectivity is not operating correctly. I can log in to the network via FANS, but ATIS and Clearances never arrive. ATIS seems to still be retrieving real-world, but not ATIS from SI. The ACARS log at https://acars.sayintentions.ai/ shows the responses are being sent. I eventually received confirmation that the clearance request was received, but nothing after that. Also, it's possible to request ATIS via telex on SI, which I did through SEND MSG - CONTACT MSG, which you can see was received by SI, but the ATIS message never arrives as well. I checked FANS MSG LOG, RCVD MSGS, and ATS LOG to confirm messages are not received. Log.txt

  16. Honestly, one of the things in life I can wholeheartedly loathe. Not just it messing with circadian rhythm, my meetings, commuting in the dark, and my mood. But I am even doubting any of the "crime" and "economic" impacts that are touted. The only people that seem to be for it, are in Government.

  20. Is there a way to disconnect electric trim or pull a circuit breaker to cause the electric trim to be INOP? I see a pitch trim breaker, but it doesn't seem to have any effect. The context is I have runaway trim as a potential failure but need a way to rectify it.

  22. Also noticed this. When using the UNS-1, AP is super smooth. Only the TDS gets twitchy. FYI, I'm trying it without the RXP .ini files in the folder. Will see if that makes a difference. EDIT: Tried removing the RXP .ini files. No difference. The flight director is smooth for about the first 500 feet AGL then it starts twitching.
  23. Yes. Likely Steam updated your X-Plane to a version that is not compatible (yet).

  25. I am not sure why is that when I try to run the CL650 on X12 it crashes. I was from my system 3 days when it was running smoothly. I certaintly can run it on X11 but not on X12. Does anyone have any idea why? Can it be the lates Steam update? If it is, are there any ways to remove the update? It is an expensive module and reaching out to the seller is complicated. The crash takes me to the beginning and no notifications appears as to why it crashed. It just returns to the play screen in Steam. Please assist.

Well, it might be because development is difficult, and also because Laminar has been modifying the famous SDK, which they have completed, I believe, but it is also true that I had never expected a development to come out before, not even when I worked in a paid capacity. Maybe we are waiting for X-Plane 13 to come out, and since there was no longer a promise to release a version for the 13, we are left with that, with the unfulfilled promise of a magnificent plane that unfortunately we will no longer be able to fly except in bad versions like the MSFS one. But it flies! and it is accessible. I also fly it, sometimes, returning to XP11.
  27. Having flown the Toliss A319 recently, which has no tooltips, I just want to say how much I appreciate the tooltips provided in the Challenger. I noticed this small error a while ago but have never reported it. Chances are you already know. If you hover the outer selector on the CRS knob it says barometer.
