Quote This can happen when you attempt to reload a powered-on state between build versions. The FDR power control circuit gets reset to the off state. Then when the tri-axial accelerometer detects motion of the aircraft without the FDR being powered on, you get an FDR FAIL CAS message. This cannot happen in normal operations, as the FDR power circuit self-latches during right engine startup. The workaround is to simply momentarily poke the R engine START button on the overhead. That causes the FDR power circuit to turn on and latch, after which the message goes away. Edited April 21 by Pils Quote
