Take Command!: IXEG 737 Classic Plus v1.5.2 Update Released!

There's no conspiracy. It's just clear as day. It's two years since the update and there're no news. The doubt creeped in. -

Hi Team, I love flying the B733 but I'm having a hard time getting the aircraft to capture the GS. I'm on perfect approach with ILS frequency set, The GS marker reaches descend point but it just keep moving down. APP has been activated. Anyone else is having this issue? I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Maybe I'm missing a step in the procedure somewhere.

Take Command!: IXEG 737 Classic Plus v1.5.2 Update Released!

Hi team, I was wondering, Will the Co-Pilot instrument functionality be activated in the near future? That is there's no WX and Terrain info on the Co-Pilot MFD. That would be awesome. -
I'll see to that although most chances that's it's a bug/ blocked script something like there was with the first version of this plane

The forum died out. I assume this was the goal. It's almost two years. And there's nothing. -
Options contolled by livery / MCP option with paddles
rosseloh replied to BodoM's topic in Feature Suggestions
Notably, the "tailnumber" field doesn't change the painted number on the livery (because that's a texture file; there are dynamic livery reg options but they require more complicated plugins designed to do that in the first place), but what it *does* do is change the tailnumber dataref in the sim, which is useful for external data logging apps or the sim logbook (by default they just show whatever Planemaker is set to, which in this case is D-IXEG which is quite annoying when you fly different registrations!). So yes, I agree - would be a very nice addition. -

I am fine with the reg number and link to a livery. Felis 747 has a "livery.cfg inside the livery folder and inside the cfg file you store: "tailnumber=N809MC" for example. So here it could be = "D-ADIG" for Air Berlin and DBA. -
Devs aren't machines and you need to understand that every work requires time and money. coding isn't simple and fast, depends on the circustances they face during the update. XP12 recives a lot of updates in a short time and they have to adapt to this scenario. Ow, but It's an excuse? no. But this aircraft was released a long time ago and the money you payed on that was for xp11, xp12 requeires another work to be done. We need to respect people and stop bodering them, they have family and another things to take care like the most here have.

How does the Challenger 650 perform with AMD GPUs?
Cassio replied to Mikkel's topic in General Discussion
So, vanila x plane will always have more fps compared with addons, so it’s normal. I just bought a 9070 XT (should arrive tomorrow) once it arrives I’ll test it and give feedback for you -

As the reg number came with livery, I think link to livery is good enough, if you want different config for same airline, just have different livery for same airline -

Yes, everything works now. Thank you very much for your speed and helpfulness :-)Amazing aircraft. Have a nice day Gabriel

I think this is a timing out issue. I've made some adjustments on your account in the backend. Can you see if activation goes through now?

Hi log.txt in attachment. I would like to say that I have a pretty strong 1GB internet, Windows 11 and I fly in msfs 2020/2024 so my internet is stable and strong. Regards Gabriel Log.txt

4090 GPU at 100% in evenings or night time at most med/large airports?
Cameron replied to Interscribe's topic in Help!?!
The real-time lighting is the culprit behind your video card maxing out. Cyberpunk looks stunning, but it’s just a small slice of a vast world. X-Plane, on the other hand, can render much larger distances and spaces. It’s not a fair comparison. -
Please attach the log.txt file from your X-Plane folder.

Options contolled by livery / MCP option with paddles
Litjan replied to BodoM's topic in Feature Suggestions
Not a bad idea - maybe it should not even depend on the livery (as for example Lufthansa had both options for autopilot engagement), but a user could set up a combination of preferences including the livery and then save them under a unique name... -
Hello, 1. Options contolled by livery as you can select several option in the preferences: - steam gauges - eye brows - winglets they shoul be defined in a "livery.cfg" in the livery folder to provide an automatic preselection when loading the livery. Otherwise you must manually chance them any time when selecting a different livery. 2. Optional MCP with A/P paddles As you offer optional steam engine gauges it would be nice to also offer an alternate MCP which that the paddles for the A/P engage. This type was used by several airlines like Delta, Lufthansa and Southwest. Thank you.

Yes, Cameron is correct - when the plane calculates that it won´t be able to reach it´s cruise altitude and then descend again in time for the landing, this message will appear. It can also happen that a different STAR or SID has an altitude restriction on it, that makes it impossible to reach the cruising altitude. When you change a SID or STAR while you are already flying another one, VNAV can get confused about the phase of flight it is on (climb, cruise, approach)
