Since VR is not supported yet. Is there a way to bypass the FBO procedure in VR?

Greetings simmers, Can other simmers with the 737 Classic Plus, and have XP 12.3.1 test this plane as well? On my copy, even with a fresh install, the cockpit will brighten abnormally when arming the emergency lights, whitens up even more with the battery and galley lights on, and finally, whitens up almost completely when power is pulled from the GPU/APU. My 737 Classic Plus is version 1.5.2, which looks to be the latest version (unless I'm wrong and there is a newer version somewhere other than my account's purchases page). Screenshot is attached for reference. I'm looking for reproducibility on others' simulators before I go in and submit a bug report. Lighting was not a problem in XPlane 12.2. Maybe this version is just too old, seeing as it's one from 2023?

No current timeline, but it's in the works, will likely be in the v1.1 update.

Thanks for your professional insight; I will follow your recommendations. My best guess is that the c/g has been too far forward

Im aware that my pc is not too up to date. But this is the only aircraft I have an issue with. The F777v2 has no issues what so ever. And I see many other people fly this aircraft with equivalent or lesser than my specs. I also clicked the VRAM 6 or less version for the CL650 install. I would have loved to known that before splurging on this plane. Very disappointing, especially after wanting this for so long and saving the money. Not to mention that the minimum listed is 4 gb or VRAM, which is quite misleading obviously if I cant run it with 6

Hi Charlie, The previous issue (from 2023) has been resolved and the plane flares fine (in my opinion, but I flew the real one only for 10 years ). To find the correct approach speed, enter the weight correctly into the FMS and then check on the approach page - it tells you the Vref, add 5kts to that to find the approach speed...technically you are expected to bleed off these 5kts between the threshold and touchdown, but in reality this is rarely done. If you feel that you lack authority to "pull the nose up", make sure that your center of gravity is within limits, if it is too far forward, the ability to increase pitch will be limited. To see smoke from the tires is perfectly normal, this is not due to hard touchdown but due to the wheels getting spun up super rapidly when they touch the ground.

Hello I'm running v 1.5.2 and seem to have the same issue. Assuming less than a full load of passengers what is the typical fuel amount on board when landing for either a divert or a holding pattern? I tried a number of approaches and have read the flap schedule/weight/approach speed, etc. How critical is the Vref setting? Even at 140 and bleeding off, the yoke still seems to be unable to flare properly even with that much speed. The landing looks OK (sort of) but the actual touchdown sounds hard and with a lot of 'smoke' from the tires BTW, I love the aircraft and the sounds. Equip: Brunner CLS yoke/ Honeycomb Throttle, Ruddo Pedals, Stream Deck XL & + Charlie

I think you may be asking too much from your PC's resources. I don't mean to be disparaging but the hardware is rather low-end by current standards. As you said there were no errors from the sim to show why it was exiting, however the log shows a severe shortage of VRAM being made available to the sim by Windows. There are both extra plugins (SayIntentions, etc.), and extra scenery being loaded. Also, with this little VRAM, running any applications outside the sim is going to starve it of resources, even a web browser, voice chat, etc. Can you please try to: Remove all third party plugins, except Gizmo64 Remove all third party scenery, including AutoOrtho Exit any non-sim processes, including background utilities, web browsers, etc., that aren't critical If there's still a crash, upload the Log.txt again. Thanks.

I recently bought the Hot Start Challenger 650, and after installing it (6gb VRAM or less version from the install) I could not get it to work. Every time I would load it up and walk out to the aircraft, it seemed like every time I would walk away from my computer, it would close without error. I only have Better Pushback and a winwing mod installed which shouldn't be the issue at all. I tried again not too long ago, and I got super bad stuttering for some reason, but my FPS was still pretty good. Not sure what's going on, but I would sure love to use this $125 aircraft. After trying it once more, the aircraft worked for maybe 5 minutes, and while I was looking up a youtube video on my browser, my xplane froze, and closed again without error. Log.txt

Thanks Daniel, in my case I had no different NAV SRC´s but both headings on the PDF were incoherent (by 10 degree) and HDG was shown in yellow, which led to a "EFIS COMP MON" message. I fixed it by selecting the "Non-persistent Mode" at the very beginning.

IXEG for X-Plane 12, Version 1.5 Whats new
maybemainforever replied to tkyler's topic in General Discussion
Hello! I bought an ixeg 733, but after installation, the cabin is dead. I'm trying to open the gizmo64 window, but it doesn't work. Has anyone encountered this issue? In the logs, I found a record stating that there is no license, even though it's impossible to install this miracle without it. -
No where in the aircraft model. Irl one would keep track of it manually. Maybe you can reconstruct such data from the FDR files.

Recently started re-using the IXEG 37 - I like this aircraft a lot and I appreciate the work involved to update to XP12. I have to admit the sounds on this aircraft are excellent and it is a lot of fun for an 'old guy' to dream about flying... I read through the comments and I have to agree with the moderators - the tone of the primary 'complainant' was to put it nicely, less than constructive and tended to make assumptions and overly broad generalizations. Having recently utilized a Stream Deck and SRS Studios excellent X-Keypad as I tend to prefer not to use the mouse for as many flight options as possible, my wish is that though there are plenty of 'datarefs' available in the IXEG 737 using Lee Baker's excellent dataref tool, it seems as though there are few commands available. Most of the commands appear to be only available via the keyboard/XP joystick assignment section? I'll try working in some 'numeric' datarefs/commands and see if that helps. Keep up the great work...

In aircraft preferences file I can see a total hobs time in seconds. APU bay has apu time counter. Where I can see total hours in airplane and do engines have runtime calculators?
-
"fixed" in the sense of "adjusted", only on one side - so both side were using different NAV SRC.
-
Unfortunately, at least as of now, that is not planned.
