  1. Well I won't comment on your first two questions as a great job has already been done. As for the third, this must be an x-plane thing as I have experienced the same in various aircraft. Sometimes the sun is reflected on the panel but when you go to an external view the sun is below the horizon. Don't have a fix but I'm sure they are aware of it.
  2. This is something that many will find very useful and practical. If I may, suggest it would be even more helpful (for myself for sure), if after each flow you said what needed to be done. You state what the item is but not what needs to happen like 'on', 'off', 'norm', 'set', 'stby', etc. For instance nstead of just Generator or Beacon you could say Generator On and Beacon Off. Very nice though and thanks.
  3. Tom, glad you took the time to write that. I know you speak on behalf of the vast majority.
  4. Let's keep everything in perspective. There are a lot more important things in this world that we need to be concerned about. Thank you Morten and company for XP 10/11 and your continuing efforts.
  5. I'm very content with my life and try to make it a point not to envy anyone else's but in your case Jan, I make an exception!
  6. Can you Post a short video please? Using three monitors now but getting too much distortion on the side monitors (fov 140).
  7. After having just updated to 10.50 I also experienced this while at cruise in the FJS 727 . It was a very subtle swaying back and forth. I was hoping the cinema verite was on but it wasn't. When it happens again I will attach the log. Didn't experience this at all with 10.45 and I fly the 727 a lot. Forgot to mention that while it swayed the HI would constantly change a degree or two (I.e. 180-179-181-179-180 etc) wth the AP set to 180. I don't believe cinema verite would do this to the HI. Haven't flown for awhile as I'm still dealing with the 2 fps caused by the latest Win 10 build.
  8. Thanks Rick, you just ruined my fantasy!
  9. Had it happen once before, however, I don't have photo scenery or IXEG 737. I just sent the crash info to x-plane when it requested it and rebooted. Such is the nature of computers! Work great one day, the next?...who knows!
  10. Air Canada from the 70's with the black nose would be great also!
  11. Will a purchase as of today have these fixes? Embarrassed to say that I haven't purchased it yet but haven't had time to even turn on my computer! Been following the posts though and have read nothing but stellar reviews; I'm eager to purchase! Thanks for all your efforts and conmittment IXEG!
  12. That is really cool that you have a mock 737! Are you able to post a couple of pictures? When I get the time (which may be never! ) I too would like to build one, So I take it that you have monitors for the window views? I am planning on using two short throw projectors. i wanted to use monitors for the panels but you can't undock windows in xplane like you can in fsx. Wish you could. i have seen some sims where they have taken the pillar view on the monitor and incorporated it into the physical frame of the flight deck. Actually looked pretty good and somewhat seamless. Thanks for your post and hope to see some pictures!
  13. much appreciated!...and I in turn have returned the thoughtful act!
  14. My sentiment exactly. When everyone was peppering Cameron as to when this a/c was going to be released, he replied 'when it's ready'. I defended his reply from the standpoint that it should be released when it is ready to be released, meaning almost completely bug free. As a result I got a bunch of dislikes hence my negative reputation. For me personally I can wait another year if need be. Tired of products being released only to have their forums quickly filled with bug complaints. All these suggestions of 'nice to haves' are great and I look forward to them. They surely have been noted by IXEG and will be added in subsequent versions.
  15. i want an aircraft with as few bugs as possible. Dont know much about programming but I do know it's horrendously difficult to get everything working together. As soon as you introduce a new feature the combinations and permutations of things that can now go wrong increase exponentially. Thats not even including Interacting with addons or X Plane version changes! Horizon targets are always moving and changing. Bugs are everywhere!!! Would prefer a virtually bug free aircraft (problem is it may be bug free today but tomorrow who knows!) with few options than one that can flex its wing, show snow, have every FMC option and scream TCAS alert, BUT is buggy buggy buggy.
  16. Well said Cameron. Release it when it's ready. We can wait. Absence makes the heart grow fonder!
  17. Every little bit adds to the realism, whether it's ice, water, vortices or flex. I am not a programmer but could only imagine the complexity of adding even one of these. There isn't just the visual images to be rendered but also the variables in which these conditions would occur and to what extent; a daunting and time consuming task to say the least. Let's get the base model working as near perfect as possible (as few bugs as possible) and then slowly add the nice-to-haves!
  18. This is in General Discussion, criteria...Feel free to talk about anything and everything in this board. If this topic doesn't interest you there are other topics you can go and gaze at.
  19. Strange I just mentioned the wheel in my above post, I agree with you that the best scenario would be an option to select either. I understand the problem that if you venture off the click area you zoom wildly. This can be corrected simply by making the click area larger. In FSX you don't even need to click but rather just hover over and scroll. With the FF a/c you have the options, including double clicking which makes the entire monitor the click zone until you are done scrolling, then you simply single click to exit that mode. Cheers
  20. The list contains a lot of things that would be 'nice to have' but from what I read the list is only going to get shorter as many of them are not included due only to time constraints with plans to add them later. And others may be added if there is a demand for them, like the the mousewheel scroll! Qoute... "No way to output any CDU, EADI or EHSI onto an external device like iPad or such. Would like to have that (especially for cockpit builders), though." I am in the process of building a 737 flight sim with projectors but keep returning to FSX/P3D for no other reason than you can undock windows which is huge, absolutely huge, as all my a/c panels will be different touch screen monitors. I realize this has to do with X-Plane and not the IXEG 737. Don't think Austin has any plans to incorporate the undocking of windows. This won't stop me from buying this 737 though! Amazing!
  21. Winner is both! One is officially and the other is soon to be my two most favourite most flown X-Plane aircraft! Well done IXEG!...much appreciated!
