  1. Why does it even matter? When are you ever going to pick an aircraft up with zero fuel, after maintenance. Fly the jet and worry about something else
  2. Thanks, did seem that way with the DME freq not showing in the map. I wonder if it’s simply a question of the channel parings needing to be added, do you know if the frequency is included in the navdata or just the channel?
  3. #ATCtroll
  4. Perhaps one better, From about 1h19
  5. Are you absolutely sure there is no wind?
  6. I was looking at BSO (Benson EGUB). Would have tried LXGB despite it being U/S IRL had I made it.
  7. Autoland not fitted.
  8. Inserted a custom WPT RIPRA 360/6/6F but then wanted to replace it with RIPRA 360/5/6F; CTD on clicking (WPT ALREADY EXISTS) CONTINUE CL650_Log.txt Log.txt
  9. I’ve always expected that the DME from a TACAN is available on the civil frequency. I’ve tried recently but it doesn’t work, I notice in the xplane map that the civil frequency isn’t listed though, so is this a challenger limitation or Xplane?
  10. The rotary encoders on the hardware I have quite stiff detents, if that's the right description. They are very definite, much like Garmin ones, and it's quite difficult to rotate them quickly.
  11. That’s disappointing as acceleration may not help in my hardware case. As I’ve said before, while not prototypical, it would seem to be an easy dataref to create. To me it is no different than enabling the aircraft to be steered on the ground using the rudder. That’s not how the real aircraft works either, but it is a compromise for hardware variations.
  12. Now go back and pop those CBs!
  13. Is there any guide to the checklist XML? I don't quite understand all of it, so an idiots guide would be a real help.
  14. Pilot: "That looks like it'll just about miss." Narrator: "It didn't."
  15. Only indicates the quantity of the feeder tank. The green lights are the ones that matter.
  16. Perhaps but I have minimal control over that, what I do have is a dual rotary encoder with ALT labelled above it. So it would be the ideal solution for my hardware.
  17. Request ARM/AUTO/DISARM as 3 discrete options (so I can assign to a 3 position switch). Ideally position options for all switches in addition to up/down, even 2 pos. e.g. I have nosewheel toggle to both positions on a hardware switch. Of course that works but discrete would be ideal
    HONK, love it

  18. As noted above the temp not dropping overnight has been fixed. But on a turnaround you may find the ITT is above 120 dec C. Simply hold off moving the throttle from CUTOFF until the ITT drops, it won't take long.
  19. I'd also appreciate discrete switch settings in addition to direction e.g. PASS SIGNS up/down I'm sure could be useful depending on hardware in addition to having ON/OFF/AUTO. I have limited brain so can just about cope with mapping in XP settings. I am sure there is a better way but this currently works for me!
  20. It's perfect, thanks would never have found it otherwise!
  21. Thanks, will double check.
  22. Just using the standard X-Plane hold max command? And for both engines?
  23. The WARTHOG has throttles with a gated OFF position. I believe it is a hardware switch that is constantly held on in the throttle OFF position.
