  1. ok then...
  2. Congratulations Oliver!
  3. The polygons in the model has its normals flipped, try to flip the normals and then single-side the model so that x-plane doesn't have to render the inside of the model.
  4. A terrorist mode is not insensitive in my opinion, I think its just a challenge for pilots to complete, its hard to land a plane in 15 minute after you know theres a person on board exploding a bomb. I respect that feature as simply a challenge, of course the more features the merrier. X-Plane simulates aircraft damage, but I don't see a problem to that and so does anyone in the x-plane community as far as I see. So "Terrorist" mode should be too much of a problem. Just my thoughts.
  5. It's a compliment John. Please don't mistake it as some attack. Seriously...
  6. Nice clouds! Wrong music, doesnt fit
  7. I don't know whatever you said but, please appreciate what everyone do to contribute to the X-Plane community, otherwise you're making a social faux pas as we all try to appreciate what everyone do. I hope the moderators could lock this topic, as it is an old topic and should not be commented on further.
  8. Shishkabab, I guess you approve calling developer's work rubbish, I believe effort has been out into the development if the MD-11, regardless whether it's a conversion or not. You also need to watch what you're saying, you can't be mistaken X-Plane Dreamteam with Project Oblivion, that's two very different names. You have already accused of someone using project oblivion planes (the 737-500 conversion)
  9. #1. You're obviously don't know what you're talking about. Just because it s a conversion doesn't mean its from Project Oblivion. The MD-11 is an X-Plane conversion of the Overland freeware MD-11 model, and YES, they do have permission to convert. #2. Thats because they removed the download link, due to a miscommunication within the team that lead to the release of a beta. #3. Because its still in beta it's "garbage", I would not call it garbage by the way, lets see how good you are before calling someone else's work "garbage". All I see from your posts is simple trying to be a smartass. They're PLANNING to convert the 747-8, project hasn't even come to fruition yet. Skyspirit doesn't allow just Michael to convert their model, the previously allow numerous x-planers to convert their models. And lastly, they're closed, they're DEAD. Dead as in they don't exist anymore.
  10. The new flaps for the x737 has improved a lot! The nose though needs help, the mesh is not smooth and you could see a small dent behind the back cockpit windows. Also he poly count is unnecessarily high. EDIT: Quoted wrong person..oops.
  11. 777-200 Modified XPJ 777
  12. More DC-10 shots, this time in Alitalia livery It will be relased under Aerobridge Studios, before you ask if I do have permission-
  13. DC-10 (Significant modification of default KC-10)
  14. Calm down Kabab. I know the makers of the conversions however this model looks nothing like it. So calm down.
  15. Where did you get that plane? it looks amazing!
  16. I wouldn't know, I have the 2.3 GHz version, and it runs X-Plane really good. I auggest saving the $200 and buy the 2.3 GHz version.
  17. Lovely! I suggest editing the orthoimagery, to improve the vibrancy and the colours, you could batch modify the ortho textures in Photoshop.
  18. My method is layering, so you simply make textures for each layer and each layer could be a .pol or a .lin file. Example of a layering system ABSim uses- -Dirt and grime on pavement -Marking -pavement edges -pavement -grass and vegetation
  19. Thats your choice, its your list...but at the end, you will develop a list so inaccurate it looks like propaganda from North Korea. A lot of products are developed in a very long length of time, probably because its the quality that matters, not the quantity.
