  1. for curved lines in photoshop you want the pen tool. There's a lot to the tool though - shapes, paths etc.
  2. Looks very nice
  3. xplaneshop aka ifly.it I've included a selection of posts from the org to save a search.
  4. Isn't that the one that indi's mentioned ripping his code off? I may be wrong there, so no assertion made.
  5. it can be http://www.x-plane.com/pg_certified.html
  6. Looks lovely.
  7. will x-aviation consider stocking Carenado planes now that the quality of the conversion has improved?
  8. What about the 3d rendering in photoshop extended cs5? Can that be leveraged? I've never used it myself but would be interesting...
  9. Is that after the PMDG announcement of their groudbreaking new feature: terrain radar for the 737-NGX?
  10. I recommend any of the payware at x-aviation.com Also the XP Scenery addons: http://store01.prostores.com/servlet/x-planestore/Detail?no=178 + The carenado planes.
  11. definitely looks better from the fixed cam than from the cockpit.
  12. How well does this work on the UK photo scenery released by rcsimulations/horizon?
  13. I'm still waiting for that twotter.
  14. In the past two years I've logged untold hours at my VA developing the new website, doing repaints etc, but very few actually flying. Probably holds your interest longer this way I think.
  15. thanks for the heads up. I hope we get regional looks and that the whole planet doesn't look like an american suburb
  16. I'e stopped bothering with converted sceneries because the frame rate hit is so bad compared to x-plane sceneries - due to how the objects and textures are split up in addition to many parts not converting correctly.
  17. turn off the rendering option "runways follow terrain contours" or similar worded. That should flatten it all for you.
  18. Don't delete the files. How many hours is estimated to get the aircraft to completion? You mentioned 2-3 months if working on it, but that wasn't *full time* work was it. It was evenings / weekends. What about Indi - he has the skills, does he have the time? (Or inclination - taking over someone else's code is usually a pain in the ass).
  19. Weather?

    Project 3

(I think you said there would be a paint kit) Will there be a layered .psd paint kit?
  21. I think the x-plane market is still in it's infancy Javier. The CRJ is unique in that I see interest from a wider audience than the "x-plane as a main sim" flyers. It's an aircraft that will bring people to x-plane for it, I think Ben and Austin can see that. I own every one of your released planes. I buy them to support more than fly, as I know the x-plane market is still small, but will hopefully grow. It needs those few features (hopefully in v10) to reach a point where a flood of people will come over. (I know, it's been said for years). The CRJ will help contribute to that as well. The quality and availability of add-ons for x-plane is vastly superior to when I migrated back in 2010. For many: without the add-ons, they will not come, so the add-on market needs to develop first. Don't underprice the CRJ and don't lose heart.
  22. I think ctrl+o twice does it too.
  23. I have mine set to the advanced controls - views pan (left|right|up|down) fast. Works in all views.
  24. All of Javier's released aircraft are plugin free. By this reasoning (Modern) fighters (without system depth - like the Javelin) would be perfect for him. Javier is a very talented 3d artist and is producing work at the top end of x-plane. My only gripe is that I find some of his artwork (shiny surrounds of gauges in cockpit of the Mentor and seamax for example) can look more computer game-ish than the more subdued look of other developers such as leading edge or x-scenery. The CRJ cockpit doesn't have any of that so looks lovely
