  1. Your FMC doesn't automatically know how much fuel you have onboard. During your pre-flight preparations (and once fuelling is complete) navigate to the PERF INIT page. Press the CLR button and then click the line select key next to CALC FUEL. This will then become "SENSED FUEL". This should eliminate your CHK FUEL issues going forward.
  2. This mod* may be able to help: https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/53707-no-orange-cockpit-with-shadows/ Fingers crossed XP12 doesn't have this. * Installation at your own risk, not tested with the Challenger
  3. You can find MSNs of all Bombardier Challengers produced here: https://rzjets.net/aircraft/?page=21&typeid=69
  4. The FBO exists above the CL650 in the sim (you just can't see it once you're out of it). Parking at a gate means objects like airbridges, terminal buildings etc. will penetrate the object. This usually isn't a problem because Challengers park remotely.
  5. Hello, Can you try flying the default 172 under the same conditions and report back to us? Many thanks
  6. Hello, Apologies, I forgot to reply to this. I raised this issue and it is now rectified in the current release version. KR
  7. Hello, What was the weather like overnight?
  8. Hello, Is the cover on the alpha vane (exterior below captain side window) in flight? Please attach a log file also. Thanks!
  9. Thanks for the feedback re: handling. AoA of .6 is spot on.
  10. You should consider: Carrying less payload Slowing down Making a fuel stop in Shannon (EINN) westbound or St. John's/Gander (CYYT/CYQX) eastbound.
  11. Comparing the real CL650 and the HS CL650 PFD when at 0 RA there is no difference with the runway display. If there is, it's a matter of pixels. "Misleading naïve buyers" is a strong accusation to make - feedback is always welcomed but unfounded comments like that are not. Your linked videos do not work, I would invite you to share a photo comparison of the real 650 and HS 650 PFDs showing where it is wrong. Best regards,
  12. What kind of AoA are you seeing on approach?
  13. The flight director is just an aid, you have the raw data there in front of you so there should be no reason to go a bit off on the approach. The FD behaviour in this add-on closely mirrors that of the real world avionics. Perhaps if you share some screenshots I can expand on my explanation a little bit. Brgds
  14. Hello, Pressing disconnect A/T again will clear the FAIL message from the ATS screen. Pressing AT toggle will re-enable ATS and SPEED will display. Could you walk us through what exactly you are doing?
  15. Plus one on all the above! You should be able to run it just fine. Perhaps you could share a screenshot of your graphics settings?
  16. Hello, Are you allowing the FO to carry out the checklist himself or are you pressing advance checklist to go through the items?
  17. See below from the FCOM
  18. Of course you can fly with custom weather. It's not mandatory to update your wind data in the FMS.
  19. Hi Paul, Could you generate a new log for us please? If possible with JD Ground Handling removed from X-Plane 11 (you can just pop the folder back into resources/plugins afterwards) - just to be fully sure it's not messing with the 650. If you've any other plug-ins you might let us know, solving this issue will be a process of elimination I think! Best regards
  20. Try the Ground Services menu - there's an option to connect/disconnect main batt and APU batt.
  21. Hi, sorry this post went un-noticed. Using your cursor control panel you can select the config menu for the MFD and enable geo-political map and other features. Brgds
  22. Russian aviation authority - the "Aviation Registry"
  23. The only checklist you need for circuit training is the before landing checklist - you can accomplish this via the paper checklist or by leaving the checklist on the MFD and checking the items yourself.
  24. Hello, Not at this time. You must switch back to an internal view first.
  25. Hello, Please confirm: 1. NAV 1 set to ILS frequency and course set 2. NAV 2 set to ILS frequency and course set 3. Cyan ILS course superimposed on HSI
