  1. Are you running a multi monitor set up?
  2. Ok, first of all, the 3 identical screens is due to you, at some time, pressing the red PFD backup button on the audio panel. That gives you your instruments on the MFD should your PFD's fail. No need to create a new airframe next time. Try uninstalling simtoolkit pro and see what happens. Also, make sure the TBM is properly activated and your license is updated. An easy way to see if it's not activated is if you try to push the crash bar up, it snaps back down again. If it's activated properly, the crash bar should stay up. Make sure Gizmo is installed correctly, as this is what we use for activation.

Sure. It's made by the same person who coded the TBM.
  4. If you get the version thats out now, you get V2 at a substantial discount. If you don't get the one that's available now, you'll pay full price for V2. Either way, it'll work out to be about the same price.
  5. Please check this post and check if this is the problem you are describing. If so, an update is getting prepared to fix this. In the meantime, to avoid a crash, wait until you are established on the localizer before switching to NAV mode.

  7. Correct. The crash bar powers the ESS Bus, in turn powering up 1 G1000 PFD, the AHRS and the backup artificial horizon. The other TBM that is available is more of a "lite" product.
  8. Which means he almost definitely broke the trim linkages, resulting in an even more exaggerated climb. @Kestrel35 You need to fly this add on like it's the real aircraft. It is highly complex and highly realistic. Time to create a new airframe, because once you rupture the pressure vessel, it cannot be repaired.
  9. Post a log.txt file. I'll take a look at what's going on.
  10. There is more going on in the systems of the TBM, than many other add ons. That's why we don't, and never have encouraged comparisons. No 2 add ons are created equally. I've actually had this brought to my attention earlier this year, with the same plug in to check fps, and, sure, the fps varies, but when I tested this, to the naked eye, I couldn't even remotely distinguish the visual differences in fps, because they were so fast and unnoticeable. Just enjoy the aircraft. If you're getting obvious "pauses", then we can take a closer look. But if the fps "stuttering" is not noticeable, then you can safely disregard it.
  11. The maintenance manager is a different tab. It allows you to make repairs to individual components of the aircraft. You're also adding way too much power on the take off roll. You will almost definitely damage something in the engine if you continue doing this.
  12. In all the cases I've seen, this is down to something on the individuals computer. Can you join the discord and ask "totoritko" (Saso) about this. He's the one that made the flight model, and is more suited to help you out. https://discord.gg/T2J3p9
  13. Check the maintenance manager and make sure everything is in the green and as new. Particularly the trim linkages. If this fails, you may need to create a new airframe.
  14. This is something on your end. Almost definitely something to do with your control calibration or the CG being incorrectly set due to the loadout. We've also seen FSEconomy screw things up when it loads the TBM with too much weight. Double check everything and test again.
  15. I'm a diplomatic, politically correct, "professional" individual.
  16. We can leave it here. Are you using FSEconomy? FSEconomy has a tendency to mess with the CG due to the config file being for an 850.
  17. Before this turns into another FS vs XP thread, I'll say we've got the FS2020 SDK, and we know what is going into it. And that's where our information will stop. All I want to say about this is that FS2020 is a flight sim. X-Plane is a flight sim. Both have lived and grown alongside each other for the better part of 2-3 decades. MSFS development has stopped once or twice in those 20-30 years, but it has never had an effect on X-Plane to the extent of "Laminar will go out of business." Use whatever you want to use. It's up to Laminar and the X-Plane developers to keep people interested in X-Plane to the point where the community will show enough interest in it to keep using it. We all have our own, individual preferences. And rightly so. Let the products speak for themselves.
  18. @Ben Russell
  19. Forward that one to Laminar. It looks like X-Plane had a heart attack in the backtrace.

    No P-Factor

It's ironic that a few of you are wanting it back. I was getting quite a few DM's on Facebook, and I think a few here, also, asking for it to be lessened or removed. That it was too hard to land and take off. I'll discuss with Saso and ask him if it can be made as an option or just to bring it back as before.
  21. Looks like this is the culprit. Getting crashes with the TBM, but not default aircraft.
  22. Can you post your complete log file?
  23. @RealSimGear
  24. This is definitely something unique to your system. Try deleting the contents of your "state" folder, (Output/TBM900/state) and reload. Post back if this fixes the problem.
