  1. Turn on experimental flight model.
  2. Still waiting on confirmation, but according to my notes with information given to us by Jason Miller (Co Founder of Foreflight and TBM owner...so not just any Joe Blow GA pilot ), this is how they are supposed to behave, and were subsequently programmed in.
  3. When a beta version of X-Plane comes out, the Laminar guys are very persistent in getting updates out until it's stable. These updates usually come out on a weekly basis, and they normally go to a stable release candidate within 1-2 months of the first beta build release. It's currently up to Beta 4 (5 was released but quickly pulled due to some serous issues). Hopefully, it'll only be another few weeks before X-Plane goes to RC1 (Release Candidate 1).
  4. The way we have it modelled is if the NAV and STROBE lights are off, and the battery is on, the beacon will come on automatically. We are getting clarification that this is, indeed, how they are supposed to work.
  5. I'm assuming you're new to the X-Plane world. No developer will officially support their add ons in an X-Plane beta build. The point of beta's is for people to try them out and submit bugs to Laminar. The TBM has been made compatible with Vulkan and Metal, but the base platform (X-Plane) is currently in an unstable beta state. If X-Plane is crashing because of something inside the X-Plane code itself, there's not much we can do about it. Especially if Vulkan/Metal is still unstable. This is the reason I asked you to try 11.50 in it's OpenGL format to see if the crash continues. Also, the reason I asked you to check if your GPU drivers were updated, was because of that very error you're asking about. By all means, you're welcome to ask other people for help, but I'm one of the people who helped make the TBM. And I look at log files every single day. We can only do so much without sitting in front of your PC. And it's usually a process of elimination.
  6. All looks fine. You have your NAV lights switch turned on, and I see the green NAV light on the right wingtip. Could you elaborate further? There's also a Pulse switch and a strobe switch, but they're turned off. Incidentally, pressing Shift SPACE will store a screenshot of the sim in your Output folder.
  7. Can you post a screenshot of the exterior with the lights on and a screenshot of the overhead panel?
  8. Using an X-Plane beta means there are never any guarantees. I would recommend you roll back to 11.41. Otherwise, perhaps try running in OpenGL (uncheck "Use Vulkan driver"), or perhaps check to see if your GPU drivers are updated.
  9. For the lights, make sure you have HDR enabled in your Graphic Settings. If you are using 11.50, the AoA will not work, as it is not compatible with Vulkan/Metal. It's being worked on.
  10. This is the Laminar side of the G1000. Anything to do with the moving map or navigation needs to be addressed by them. The only ways for us to do it would be to code into the map directly (not possible) or to customise the map completely outside of what has been given to us. And that would involve 6-18 months worth of extra work making our own G1000.
  11. Refresh. It was down for a few hours. New store is up now.
  12. We found the problem. To make it short, reinstall the TBM. Please post back if you have problems.

  14. Make sure you're using the new installer in your account.
  15. For future reference, could you please put any Saab support posts in the Saab forums. This is so others with the same problem can hopefully find a solution. As for the problem, there is nothing in the Saab or TBM preventing you from setting your views using CTRL+ (Numpad keys). Check to see if you have some kind of "view preset" plugin installed that could be overriding this.
  16. Assign a key or button press to “toggle thrust reverse”.

  18. I did find another topic with the same problem, and he solved it by deleting Gizmo and uninstalling the TBM, then reinstalling. Feel free to give that a try and see if it works.
  19. Just a reminder, whenever you re-test, I'll need to see the log.txt file if the issue persists. There is literally nothing in the TBM that can spontaneously cause the throttle to start creeping forward, and each time someone else has had this issue, it was always a double assignment or rogue script entry. This is why the log file is crucial for me to see. It tells me the story of what is going on in your X-Plane install. The next best thing is to sit at your PC and diagnose the problem that way.
  20. Not anymore. Demand for the X-Plane 10 version is almost non existent.
  21. Please check your key assignments and find any controlling the throttle or mixture. Check for any double assignments. Failing that, please remove all 3rd party plugins, except Gizmo, and reload the sim and test. I'm suspecting FlywithLUA is the culprit, so you can try removing that first if you wish.
  22. Please turn off AI traffic
  23. Please post a log.txt file. (Found in the root X-Plane folder.)
  24. If you received a response, you should get an email from support shortly. It depends on how busy it is. Keeping mind, with self quarantine going on, a lot more people are home and flying X-Plane.
  25. Thanks for reminding me how old I am. A lot has happened in the last decade. It's no secret that Jim, who was coding the Citation, was hired by Laminar soon after the Saab was done. It's a guaranteed income working on X-Plane. I don't know any developer who would say no to that. I decided to work on a new version of the C23, DC3, (including the mobile version), Saab 340 and get up to speed on PBR workflows, which included learning how to UV map and texture 3D mesh. Prior to the Saab, I had no clue how to do this. And then the TBM 900 project fell on my "virtual desk" at the beginning of 2018. Back then, when we were working on the Citation, we didn't think demand for the Saab would be what it is. There is an overwhelming response to get it upgraded to XP11+ standards. So, to cut it short, will it be finished? We want it to be finished, and we plan to get it finished. But it all depends on Jim's and my schedules. I still have 3D model and textures. ETA? We stopped giving out ETA's a few years ago. Simply because when we do, they always backfire on us. However, I'm hoping that in the meantime, the CL650 I'm working on will give the bizjet fans their bizjet fix.
