Are you using the correct installer? What's the filename of the installer?

Can you post the exact error message (screenshot would be perfect) and can you confirm you're pointing the installer to the ROOT X-Plane 11 folder

Small inputs, small corrections and anticipate where the aircraft is going instead of correcting it if steers too far off. Practise and you will get it.

11.31 is not classified as beta, but Laminar have done something that causes a crash. The only solution at this time is to go back to 11.30. This is solely on Laminar's end.

Did you change anything at all in the acf? No matter how small you think it might be.

Your last log is from 11.30. 11.31 does have a bug in it, and that will need to be fixed by Laminar. I'm going to ask a very big one of you now. Is it possible for you to install a clean version of X-Plane, no scenery, on a separate hard drive, no add ons, and then install the TBM. And THEN test it again, same circumstances, and then to let me know if you are still getting a CTD using the maintenance button. This will help eliminate any rogue plug ins or aircraft.

Known issue in 11.31. We have a workaround in the works. At this time, either downgrade to 11.30 or wait for a fix from Laminar.

I'll try a few ideas and see what I can come up with, so as to accommodate VR and non VR users.

The B often times has the extended wing tips. Early B models did not have these, but they added 4+ ft to the wing span and they would be common among the B variant.

Not 100% sure on that. It's already on the list of possible fixes, but no promises. The scaling was done on Laminars side, so, in my opinion, the best option for a fix is if they can do something with it to make it accessible to developers. Just an FYI, the scaling has also made the Saab camera views go off alignment. So it's definitely across the board.

The only major hurdle we have is the FMC. Whether or not @JGregory wants go down that road, is up to him. Eh, Jim?

V2.0 is a PBR, 3D mesh and code overhaul, and will be a paid upgrade. Little fixes, like the bank angle, are getting done as part of the 1.5 run and will be free updates.

The main issue here is the TBM does not use FMOD. It's using a custom sound engine. So something very weird is going on in your XP install. @skiselkov I'll leave this one to you.

There's a lot going on in there. From what I can see, your X-Plane installation, including scenery, is spread across at least 2 hard drives/partitions. For some reason, you got some FMOD sounds being read from 1 drive while X-Plane is being run from a different drive. We've seen problems with the G1000 trying to read scenery from a separate hard drive/partition. But first, going to need you to remove all plugins except Gizmo and then try again. That's a start.

If you get a stable 30fps with the default Cessna, then you SHOULD be ok. LIKELY above 20fps if you keep the same settings. It's a GPU demanding aircraft, and the 1060 should be able to handle it.

I'm pretty sure you bumped the Manual Override lever. Under normal conditions, moving that lever forward will increase fuel flow and overheat the engine.

If you’re getting 20 FPS With the TBM, with all graphics sliders set to minimum, there is something seriously wrong happening on your end. Toto runs a worse computer than yours, and even he has FPS that are more than acceptable. What FPS do you get with the DA62?
