  1. Cowboy10uk, that means your engine is on fire right after engaging the starter, even before you introduce fuel? In this case it could be residual fuel in the combustion chamber. Try to do a dry motoring procedure before your next start. (and do it with GPU power to prevent battery discharge) Good luck
  2. You mentioned in another thread that you don't use rudder pedals. I think that's contributing mostly to your problems. I would recommend using pedals or at least the twist axis of a flight stick.
  3. The TBM 900 specs say max cruise speed of 330 kts TAS is reached at FL280 in ISA conditions and obviously without wind component.
  4. One thing worth to try is to completely disconnect all your hardware (flight stick, yoke...) and try only with your mouse. Something may be interfering here and prevent fuel flow.
  5. Maybe a short video would help us helping you.
  6. Moved to the right side.
  7. I think you can via the TBM menu.
  8. Just an idea, as it is a starter/generator couldn't it simply be the total time running as a starter AND generator?
  9. The 2 seconds is just to initiate the starter sequence. He's dry motoring for more than 10 seconds after that which should be enough to clear the combustion chamber.
  10. Strange, I did that intentionally once to test my landing gear lever switch assignment and nothing happend. Maybe theres more to it in your case.
  11. You may have been too far away of the leg you want to intercept. NAV mode will stay armed and your current mode will stay active until you get in a 2nm range (I think) of the leg path. If you want to intercept a leg instead of a direct-to, you'd dial in the appropriate heading to intercept course and press NAV, then the aircraft will follow the heading until in range and then switch to NAV mode automatically.
  12. Sorry, can't help you but man, this is an impressive piece of hardware! Maybe check for assigned commands, or start with an empty profile.
  13. I rarely use the keyboard but I can try it when I'm back home on Friday. All I know is that typing works for flightplan creation, for a direct to I have never tried.
  14. Im pretty sure you can switch between north up and track up in the menu, but only on the map page, not when displaying the flight plan. Sorry I'm not able to verify atm as I'm not at home on my pc. To control the right side of the throttle (cutoff to flight idle), besides using your mouse you could also map the related commands to buttons. The manual describes how to do it.
  15. And do you still have problems with floating at 75 knots (bounce up like a ball)? That should be gone now with the mode off.
  16. That's exactly what I love about it! My family calls me insane when I fire up the sim once again after shutdown just to make sure I had put the covers back on.
  17. Skiselkov, do you think it would be possible to implement a dimming function for the lights in a future update? Would be highly appreciated! Without lights you don't see the switches, but with the lights on the cockpit is much too bright for a night environment.
  18. Thanks for sharing! I think you did a great job with the landing and were able to walk away in one piece. The gear damage really seemed to happen during your takeoff, seems your gear slightly touched the ground again right after liftoff. By the way, did you notice you had accidentally selected full flaps for takeoff? That may have contributed to the general instability. Now to the emergency gear extension handle: this is actually a hydraulic hand pump handle, which means you have to pump your gear down, actuating the handle up and down repeatedly. (and you have to make sure the bypass selector is pulled, but you did that anyway) But nevertheless, nice job on your landing!
  19. Oh I see and I agree, you're right about that.
  20. That's strange, one would assume your airframe to be considerably damaged after that. Would you mind sharing the video?
  21. Going into maintenance and have a look at different parts of your aircraft does easily represent a 2 weeks inspection in real life. So you get a cold aircraft back from the inspection.
  22. I just wanted to say that in my opinion there's no point in reporting issues with the TBM running under the experimental flight model because it is not made for that purpose. https://www.x-plane.com/2018/12/x-plane-11-30-experimental-flight-model-mode/ But of course you can have it enabled if you like.
