  1. Makes no sense, he wouldn't have power at all. NG is rising too, but no fuel flow indicated, as if the lever was at cut off. Thats strange.
  2. Ok I'm out if ideas sorry. You should be fine as long as you didn't forget to put the power lever into low idle. Maybe it's worth checking if you have xplane default failures turned on and one of these hit you.
  3. Can you make a screenshot of your MFD in this situation? Maybe the CAS messages help to understand what's going on.
  4. The function to turn it on or off is not modelled in the Laminar G1000. You will see the ring appear by default, but you will also find it is way off and not accurate in most cases.
  5. Anything broken or worn in the maintenance menu? Ignition on Auto?

If you type in "mixture up" in the search bar you will get the related results, but they show up in the language you have selected. So look out for whatever mixture up means in your language.
  7. Unfortunately that's not possible, same as for the cockpit/cabin lights. At least for the latter we may expect an update fixing this in future.
  8. They are the devs behind this fabulous TBM 900 Look for the discord channel "Hot Start".
  9. You need to bring up the weather radar page on the MFD first. Turn the FMS navigation knob (inner knob) located on the MFD keypad until the radar page is displayed. On that page you will see the MODE softkey and can go on.
  10. You can find it in the real Garmin G1000 pilots guide. For Synthetic Vision press the PFD softkey, then press the SYN VIS softkey, then enable all that stuff (PATHWAY, SYN TERR, HRZN HDG, APTSIGNS) For the weather radar you need to navigate to the radar page, press the MODE softkey and then either put it in standby mode or start with weather or ground mode right away.
  11. I think all what you mentioned above is absolutely valid, especially regarding our flight controls which are noisy and of course give no force feedback, thus don't allow for all the tiny corrections you would do without thinking about it IRL. But still I think torque is a factor, even more so because we're flying a 850shp beast, tremendous power given its relatively light weight. Roll tendencies would definitely be present imho. One could argue if it's a little exaggerated of course, but that would be a question for the lucky guys flying those birds IRL . Given the fact that Hotstart really pushed the limits with this model in so many ways i would think that it's correct. But if you think it isn't i would suggest to just ask Toto or Goran what they think about it. They are very responsive on questions in their discord channel.

    minimums

Just to clarify again, you can set a decision altitude (height above mean sea level) in the Hotstart TBM, but you can't set a decision height (height above ground level). AFAIK the latter would be required for CAT II approaches, for which the TBM 900 is not certified anyway. So IRL it would add bit of safety but that's about it, in Sim it doesn't really matter.

You can set barometric minimums, but the question was about radio altimeter minimums (decision height).

Really? I never noticed that. But still you can't set minimums.
  15. That sounds like you're using a script or plugin for camera effects. (headshake etc.)

    minimums

The real TBM 900 has it, it's just not modelled. It would be a question for Toto or Goran if they may implement it with a future update. Anyway, it's not a big thing as baro minimums work too. The only downside is that it's Laminar default code which means we are limited to < 10000 ft. Not enough if you want to visit Aspen or Telluride.

If that was your question: Radar altitude is not modelled in this aircraft. You have to stick to barometric minimuns.
  18. Sure it will do, it will keep the ball centered for you, keep your nose straight. But it's no "wing leveller".
  19. Yaw damper won't trim out roll tendencies, so you have to counteract with aileron trim. Fuel imbalance and torque will make you roll all the time, there's rarely a situation where you can have aileron trim centered with wings level. I think totoritko mentioned once that the TBM is pre-trimmed for zero roll at about 50% torque. This means it tends to roll left at higher setting and right at lower setting, not taking into account other factors like fuel imbalance.
  20. Thank you Goran, but it turned out to be AI traffic from the Live Traffic plugin. Not the plugin itself, but the xplane AI aircraft it controls so that AC labels are shown on the map. With xplane AI off I have no more CTD's. I have no clue why it was working fine on every airport I visited except of EDDM. Maybe because live data coverage is very good at EDDM with many AC's shown.
  21. Ok this seems to happen always at or around EDDM. I have the one made by Short Final Design (Mister X6), so maybe I should try if it also happens with the default airport.
  22. Hi guys, could somebody do me a favour and check if this behaviour can be reproduced? When I climb out I switch to FLC mode at some point and it was working flawlessly in the past. Since version 1.1.9 however I noticed that the airspeed to hold after pressing FLC button is always 3 knots less than the indicated speed on the speedband at the time I had pressed the FLC button. For example I climb at 140 knots indicated, press the FLC button on the autopilot panel and the airspeed to hold is then shown as 137 knots. Screenshot below was taken just at the moment I had pressed the FLC button. For me it´s reproducible with any speed, it´s always 3 knots less.
  23. I have had my first CTD today after months without any trouble. I suspect x-enviro to be the culprit because last time I had crashes was back in January when I gave x-enviro 1.09 another go. Now I couldn´t resist to try the new version 1.10 (which, by the way, looks gorgeous at times) and CTD´s are back. But maybe Goran or Toto could have a look at my log and tell me it´s something else... I was approaching EDDM in heavy rain (screenshots attached just for fun) and managed to land, as soon as I had left the runway I had the first CTD. I fired up the sim again to taxi to parking and finish the flight and had the second CTD right after I had shut down the plane. The attached log is from the second crash, unfortunately I don´t have the log from the first one. Thanks for having a look! Log.txt
  24. Nice! I know weird things happen sometimes after a crash or burned engine, I've been there too...
