  2. It should appear once at sim start unless you decide to turn it off in the preferences screen. Server error Cam fixed is unlikely to reoccur. Not sure what's going on. Getting to the end of my day so I'm going to leave it for Cam to dig into with fresh eyes in a couple of hours.
  3. Is this about the VC++ stuff or Gizmo 15 or 17? Just making sure...
  4. SMP 4.5 has a Gizmo update in it.
  5. have you been having hotter than usual weather lately?
  6. I expect the coming Gizmo + DRM update to work fine in XP10 with maybe some minor visual concessions given to XP11 priority. XP11 tweaked the screen layout ever so slightly.
  7. X-Plane 11 features an all new sound engine which will very likely address all your concerns and then some. The problem is that it's all new. It's also only just been documented; http://developer.x-plane.com/2017/05/we-have-fmod-documentation/
  8. FWIW: Laminar basically dumped X-Plane 11 on us third party developers with about two weeks prior notice before they opened for public testing. Not exactly ideal.
  9. I posted in the forum during the event. ...after that I was more concerned with fresh water, food and electricity. Sorry for the frustrations you're feeling.
  10. Maybe this will help explain a few things; http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-03-30/cyclone-debbie-storm-continues-along-east-coast/8402528
  11. It's coming. The consequence of getting the DRM update wrong are considerable. :| The update will allow instant in-sim de-auth of old machines you're no longer using. More info soon.
  12. You need complicated systems for this to be an issue. With the DC3 I'd expect the Lua garbage collector to be practically idle.
  13. Maybe this will look better... it's only $325.. https://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/3d-model-boeing-737-300/722596 IXEG team has stated repeatedly from the start of the project; Systems before Visuals.
  14. What Goran meant to say is that I've just been smashed by a storm, am in recovery mode, expecting unkown delays. It's close, but I have no idea how long it's going to take as everything around me is in chaos.
  15. We use Gizmo as a central part of our DRM and activation software. You removed the license server for the other two plugins. I would expect them to stop working. This is not a problem. This is by design.
  16. The team is waiting on some Gizmo updates. I was hoping to start testing this week but we've just been smashed by a massive storm system instead. We've had no power for 3.5 days. Roads remain cut without a 4WD vehicle. Normally we don't bother mentioning the many little things in life that add delays to project but this is a natural disaster scale event. There will be delays that are well out of my control. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-04-02/nsw-floods-receding-water-reveals-destruction/8407802
  17. some of us did.
  18. Amazon Web Services are having service distruptions today. I suggest you try again when the rest of the Internet stops squawking that AWS is broken too. Seems like they might have it restored by the time you read this reply. https://status.aws.amazon.com/
  19. Had you taken the time to explore it you'd find there's a preferences control panel that lets you turn the tool tray off. You can find this from both the tool tray itself AND Plugins > Gizmo > Windows > Preferences.
  20. ..i didnt.. just making a passing statement that all things are a trade off.
  21. All data loaded in Lua script vars is subject to Garbage Collector overheads. You know, those stutters you all hate? Careful what you wish for.
  22. XP10 Gizmo has no knowledge of your 11 install... even if it did, it would NOT object to it by design. Perfectly acceptable config. As for the bug, I had a quick look and my only real suspicions are either JAR Ground Handling or X-RAAS which is running under FWL. ...root cause, not really sure, the IXEG systems are throwing a stack-overflow inside Lua for unkown reasons.... not enough info to say much more. Thanks for your patience.
  23. are you 110% sure it's up to date? ... there's no conspiracy going on here, it's just a minor tweak to gizmo internals. The tweak is intended to share the dref data with _more_ plugins, not block you out in any way. Some people have lost access and I'm curious if it's their copy of DRE that is out of date and not capable of responding to the new dref message broadcasts.
