rolling out full left when engaging the reverse
taildraggin68 replied to cmbaviator's topic in TBM 900
Maybe reduce the amount of reverse thrust you are using? The same principles of easy throttle adjustments in forward flight apply with reverse thrust. It's a TBM900 not Draco -
Sounds to me like a weather plugin issue instead. I've put 4 hours in this plane since initial installation and have no control issues whatsoever. Maybe the augmentation for the speed control surface tension might still be a bit strong in 1.08, but the only reason I have engaged the A/P is for a bladder relief pause. The rest has been hand flown.

IXEG 737 Classic v1.0.1 Has Been Released!
taildraggin68 replied to Cameron's topic in General Discussion
I have shut my machine down for the night but try and recreate the issues in the morning and attach logs etc. I did capture some screens of the graphic issues but I got them to disappear by in checking the vortices display. Discos were gizmo faults that I will try to recreate and get logs- 70 replies

IXEG 737 Classic v1.0.1 Has Been Released!

Thanks for the update...still a few quirks with FMC and disconnects, and some crazy graphic issues initially but still testing. AP issue seems very good though and a solid update. Will post issues if things don't iron out after system reboot.- 70 replies

That same effect happens with the blinding option checked during the daytime under certain lighting. With the blinding option off I have not had the night issue.

+1. The lighting is outstanding both in the cockpit and outside the airplane.

How to make a kiss landing like Jan
taildraggin68 replied to cmbaviator's topic in Flight Procedures and Techniques
Back pressure is always needed as you will need to acquire the right pitch and hold it. As airspeed drops, a bit more pressure will be needed to maintain your pitch angle until the plane stops flying and you touch down. Ideally at or below 100fpm giving you a nice touchdown. Practice practice practice. -
I just want to say thank you for a job well done. There may be some release quirks and pains, but this is an enjoyable plane to fly. I was able to do a quick orientation flight from KJAX to KTLH using manual inputs to the AP and it tracked heading, altitude, and VS fairly well with the AP issue being mild until the glide slope where I encountered unexpected IMC to minimums. Even then, a quick disconnect and hand flying the approach resulted in a successful landing. Job well done and I'm sure the niggles will get worked out. Thanks
