  1. I'm currently running X-Plane on one PC. If I run SMP or RWC on my laptop, could this reduce the VRAM being used on my PC? I've heard other people speak of running X-Plane on networked PCs. How do you do that?
  2. On another note: When there is a thunderstorm with SMP 3.1.1 I see the whole cloud shaking when the lightning strike appears. Is this intended? It looks not too realistic. Thx for your great support btw!
  3. I just saw that there is a weather engine called "Ultra-WX Weather Engine" included in EFASS. Do you know if it works like FSGRW or like the NOAA plugin? Do I need to set RWC to "always" or "automatic"?
  4. This time I had a new error message (error code 8). I´ll attach the Log.txt
  5. There it goes again. Trying to fly my route from EDDM to LGKR and about halfway down the route it crashes... These new Skymaxx Updates and/or the RWC make X-Plane unflyable for me. I´m really disappointed!
  6. I´m experiencing multiple X-Plane crashes since the update of SMP 3.1. See the error message. I couldn´t complete a flight since the new update. This is really sad. Also, am I right that when I use the NOAA plugin and select "always" with the RWC, it only shows me squares of clouds or of clear skies?
  7. If you've got a workaround for the interim that's all I want to hear Thx Cameron. So day 1 purchase for me
  8. So will you inform us if the RWC works with the NOAA plugin, Cameron? I'd really like to buy this product then. I'd buy FSGRW but I don't like with this weather engine how winds push around e.g. a huge B747 (not realistic). Therefore I need to wait for NOAA compatibility
  9. Does the autobrake in the IXEG 737 correspond to the amount of reverse thrust being used? Like, is the deceleration rate more or less the same if you use autobrake level 2 with - in one case - idle reverse and in the other case full reverse thrust? I remember that the iFly 737NG was modelled like this
  10. No it doesn´t need to be on. Great update with very nice visual effects and a (for me) slightly improved performance. Sadly X-Plane crashed two times when I changed Sky Maxx Pro settings (error name: "large number of errors") It didn´t do that before the update. Is there anybody else experiencing this?
  11. I totally agree with you on that. Same goes for the sky at night when there is moon light. In reality the whole sky is visibly dark blue but X-Plane can only show some bright blue directly around the moon whereas the rest of the sky remains pitch black.
  12. Well I don´t think that there is a newer version of Skymaxx Pro v3 available since I´m using SMP3.0. And to me these clouds look way too bright at night. I´d really appreciate if you could make them darker.
  13. Well, you said that landing lights will now illuminate the clouds. This sounds great. But does this also mean, that with SMP3.1 the clouds will now be dark at night? Because I really like X-Plane´s night lighting and therefore I don´t like these really white clouds at night. Please change that in a future update. Besides, you´re doing a great job. Keep it up! Also: Will the clouds draw distance improve (without a major performance hit) with SM RWC?
  14. Just wanted to let you know that I (and probably most of the other people waiting here as well) would highly appreciate a "full flight preview" of the 733 by Jan. It doesn't need to be edited since we all don't want you to spend too much time on the video instead of hunting down nasty bugs .
  15. Guys, calm down. We're only talking about probably the by far best aircraft addon for any desktop simulator which is - hopefully - just around the corner. So nothing to get overexited in these forums
  16. Are you serious Morten?? Wow this is once again amazing news!
  17. What I don't like about FJS and one reason I've never bought a FJS product, was one livestream where Jack said that the IXEG 737 would only be hype about nothing and so on. When I asked him, why he would say so, he answered "I know the devs". Since he afterwards said that consumers should support him and not other devs because he is doing flight sim development full time in contrast to others, to me it was clear that he actually feared that people wouldn't buy his products after the IXEG release. It just disappoints me when people - sometimes devs - try to split this really small community of flight sim or - even smaller - X-Plane. And therefore I really appreciate statements like Jan's, when the FF767 was released, that we should go buy this plane as well because it sounded quite promising. But nevertheless I think I'm gonna buy a FJS plane in the near future as soon as I can afford it. Jack seems to be doing a great job developing completely on his own.
  18. And pls one or two liveries for Boliviana de Aviacion, LC Peru and Peruvian Airlines. Not sure about the last two. One of them may only operate the -500. But BoA and an airline of Peru would be really appreciated since they fly approaches into high altitude airports like La Paz, Cusco, Sucre. But don't be too much distracted from developing the plane itself Greetings from Germany
  19. I luckily had the chance to be on 3 flights with 737 Classics (2 737-300s and 1 737-500; all in Southamerica) in the last few weeks and I noticed that there is wing flex but very little. You mainly notice it in turbulence (and I think this is not so easy to implement in the sim). I'm gonna have a look tomorrow if you can see the wing flex on the videos I took and - if so - I'm gonna post them. Anyway I don't care much about that wing flex since it's not very much flex like in a B787. Take your time guys and concentrate on the more important things first. Greetings, K4bel123
  20. Hey devs, I just wanted to know if there is a chance that we can actually meet you at some flight sim show or something like that. You're really (already although it's not released yet) bringing flight simulation to a whole new level and I (and possibly others as well) would like to say thank you some time. Also I'd like to just get to know the guys behind this amazing project You were the final input that let me switch from FSX to X-Plane a few months ago and I never want to go back (just sad this switch happened that late for me )
