  1. Turning it off doesn't mean much. You need to fully remove the plugin before starting X-Plane.
  2. What happens when you don't use Ultra Weather? Pretty sure they're messing with shaders.
  3. Adding more detail on the pilot is not going to happen. Likewise, removing the pilot will not happen either. We used to not include pilots years ago. We got far too many requests and complaints for it, using the same argument you just did, but saying that it's not realistic to NOT see a pilot. I can see us creating a removal of the pilot in maintenance mode. Maybe something else option wise in the future, but for right now we have bigger fish to fry.
  4. Yes, but back to my original discussion...you need to eject the old DMG file! If you don't know how to do that, do a Google search to learn. Sometimes restarting your Mac will do the trick too.
  5. Considering 1.0.9 was out on Friday and you mentioned uninstalling a previous version, I'd say you had it.
  6. Sounds like you did not eject the old 1.0.9 DMG file. You need to eject the DMG before using a new one.
  7. Are you on a Mac?

  9. Try running the installer as administrator.
  10. Are you running with textures not compressed in X-Plane? That's definitely a killer and not a setting I would advise anyone. The trade in performance vs what you get is nowhere close to good.

  12. This is a permissions issue on your Mac. Please see the other topic you created about this for more.
  13. If one still has the XP 10 installer from diligently backing up their files then all will work fine. As stated, we no longer carry such installer on our servers.
  14. We're still investigating this one. It's a bit elusive, and I think it's somewhere in TBM code, just don't know where. I thought we had perhaps found it in the last update, but doesn't appear so.
  15. I've never once heard this before from anyone else, so I'm honestly at a loss on this one. We don't store passwords in a human readable format, so I can't even help you on that level either.
  16. I wouldn't really call my response to the topic you're discussing on another site as defensive in nature. It was more informative and clarifying, as well as confused by the statement by the poster that real sounds was a concern for him. Yes, the sounds were recorded with professional sound equipment in a real TBM at multiple angles owned by one of our beta testers. The sounds are directly tied to your X-Plane sound settings. You'll probably want to adjust that volume setting to get results you desire. As a whole the tbm is not an insanely loud aircraft inside. That's a selling point to the product in the real world. Steveo is actually a friend of mine as well. I've discussed this numerous times with him in person.
  17. Not yet. We do have plans for this at a later update.
  18. Sorry, I don't know what you're referring to. I'm assuming you mean the Activation Successful message in the upper right? Simply click anywhere on it and it should go away.
  19. You must use the installer. You do, but it will still only count as one activation since it's tied to the same machine.
  20. You're welcome! We're glad you enjoy it!
  21. It might not seem like it sometimes! Just want to echo some words posted by @skiselkov on the TBM discord channel: "With this update we're concluding release week and barring any massive explosions, we'll be taking a short break from the daily updates. Expect the next update to drop some time at the end of next week or two. We've got stuff planned in the pipeline that'll require more than a day's work, and I'm sure your fingers were starting to bleed from having to type in those login credentials so often. Of course, we're not going away or anything. We'll still be around on Discord & the x-pilot.com forums daily, ready to answer your questions and address your concerns."
  22. Hello All, This will serve as a formal forum announcement that we have released the version 1.0.8 update for the TBM 900. All customers who have purchased the TBM 900 up till now have been sent an e-mail by X-Aviation with complete instructions on how to obtain your update. We have made this a very simple process! For those that purchase the TBM 900 from today forward, your purchased download will already be updated to version 1.0.8 for you. What if I didn't get the update e-mail? If you did not receive your update e-mail don't fret! X-Aviation has updated our system to allow all customers to update with ease, regardless of whether you received an e-mail for the update! Here's what to do: 1. Login to your X-Aviation account here: https://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/account_history.php 2. Find your original TBM 900 download and re-download the file. It will download as the latest version! The following is a list of additions/fixes included: What's New / Changed: Very large poly reduction in cockpit. Cut another 50,000 polys off the model without loss of visual quality. Brake left/right hold commands were broken by axis logic rework. Put those back in. Implemented datarefs to show aerodynamic flight control loading, control position and neutral point. Flight control aerodynamic load was being incorrectly computed from instrument-indicated airspeed. Toe brake handling in partial axis assign situations is all wrong. Added thrust loading to flight control aerodynamic loading. Added notification about the MAN OVRD lever with engine shut down. Added notification about flooded combustor. Made exterior walkaround clickspots hidden when inside the cockpit. Added radar self-test sounds. Added new internal main door lock/unlock sounds. Turning off autopilot on XP11.30 caused a crash in yaw damper handling code. As always, thanks for being a customer with X-Aviation. We appreciate your feedback and support! Enjoy these latest updates, and stay tuned to the forum as we continually announce the latest happenings.
  23. You're welcome!
  24. Sounds like you have not ejected the dmg on your Mac from the previous installer 1.0.6. Gotta eject those dmg's!
  25. This will not be changing. And, as Saso has mentioned, the update frequency will soon tone down. In the grand scheme of things, this is a really simple thing to be complaining about. Just enjoy the plane and not the 30 seconds of cumulative time it takes you to do those tasks.
