  1. Guys, relax. Tom's interpretation and meaning of running out of money does not mean he'll be on the streets. He quit his job with lots in savings with a goal end date. As anyone smart with their money, you don't want to dip into savings for forever. We're not taking pre-orders...ever.

That's correct. The engine model is completely written from scratch, overriding X-Plane's interpretation of what it thinks should happen so we could have a realistic simulation. This is the price we pay for realism...you have to fly and go through the startup procedure. Plenty of topics on this. Search function is useful!
  3. No, we definitely have the infrastructure in place to support high demand.
  4. We know. The sound was just implemented but not fully programmed just prior to the video. Please be aware, as already stated, this is work in progress and not a video to pick away at. When we release something of a final preview then it's your turn to hammer down.
  5. Doesn't count. Just something random I made.
  6. As does our 737 captain on the development team.
  7. Not that I can recall, but I'll put a squash on that now and say with rather certainty it won't be happening, especially for 1.0. A lot of work went into faithfully replicating what current aircraft look like. Hopefully you'll all enjoy it when it's in your hands!
  8. The cabin (or 3D for that matter is not completed), so something like this would be in very final steps. Work in progress, but we wanted to show where we're at anyhow! Haha, no. This was not a procedural video. Purely a showing off of sounds with no care in the world to how it's flown before I press File > Quit.
  9. Hi Folks!, I've just finished putting together a video titled 'Sights and Sounds'. The purpose of the video is to showcase the latest version of the 737-300 project as it stands today with some sound additions, 3D model enhancements, and just all around cool effects! Work continues daily, and we can all see the light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully you're all as excited as we are! Enjoy!
  10. "I would say you are more fck up than serious if so.." is definitely a judgment on a person who spends their time how they choose if I've ever heard one. You have no idea what one's circumstances may be, and it is neither in your place (nor mine) to judge any person in such a manner. Many people read these forums, and that can certainly be offensive to some. Please be considerate of feelings before you write.
  11. It is really, very inappropriate to judge people in this way, Tom. Please keep it away from here.
  12. That would be cloud scud. Perfectly normal, by design, and often encountered in real life. There's also technical reasons why this is present, but I won't bore you with all of that.
  13. Not really sure what you mean. These have always been available with SkyMaxx.
  14. Theoretically it will work with any weather injector.
  15. He said he's NOT a serious pilot because he only spends about 10% of his time in the sim.
  16. No. Being a commercial product, when Laminar tells you not to play with certain things and they are prone to break...well, you don't play with them!
  17. No differently than those from XPX weather download injection. These shots were taken with default. Prior shots were taken with FSGRW.
  18. Thanks! Glad you like what you see!
  19. Hey there, Honestly, with improvements we've been doing to SkyMaxx Pro 3 as a whole, I'm getting more FPS today with the new build and this new Real Weather Connector than I was with SkyMaxx Pro v3. We'll have more info about SkyMaxx Pro v3.1 later (which will of course be free for existing SMP3 users).
  20. Haha, nope! SkyMaxx Pro disables the default cloud engine since it's a performance waste to run together at that point.
  21. New screenshots have just been posted: http://forums.x-pilot.com/topic/8666-real-weather-connector-screenshots-thread-3/#entry91461
  22. Hi All, Today we began testing a new beta of Real Weather Connector which offers up some more refined clouds and colorations. These are the first tests in such a scenario when utilizing Real Weather Connector. The screenshots are taken at a range of altitudes during climb out from an area in California. Final screenshots are take at FL300.
  23. You can fix it by lowering the sliders. We hope to improve on this going forward as well. Good idea. We'll look into it.
