X-Aviation does have an agreement for sale of Carenado products in place. With that said, all products are subject to quality inspection and testing, and we have yet to receive a final copy of the product from Carenado at this time.

Thank you for that response. You have literally just given all the more reason to NOT provide you with more screenshots or videos at this time. Funny, in your first sentence you contradict yourself with a request to be explained the drill. Nice project, poor rebuttal on your part, Clem. Let's analyze the situation here. You just now gave an example of a guy giving visual updates of his progress. It's evident he's not done with 3D work. We are, and did the exact same thing with the CRJ when we were in the 3D phase of development. http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php?topic=45.0 http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php?topic=47.0 http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php?topic=46.0 http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php?topic=378.0 http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php?topic=181.0 All the above show examples of such, not only in the first posts of the topics, but throughout them. There is nothing "new" here on our part. Programming continues, bug fixes remain, hot weather in Russia is a problem, we are all working our tails off to get it done and would love nothing more than TO get it done. All of this has been said time and time again in the repetitive question asking here. There is NOTHING visual to show, which is precisely why videos and pictures are not up at the same pace, and is irrelevant since you have just basically stated yourself you can't handle them anyhow. Where, Clem, do you not understand this?

Manipulators working in the opposite direction

It's an X-Plane view angle bug. Not sure if it will get fixed in version 9. -
No worries, Mike! Always good to enjoy XP in any form you can. We're quite confident our product is still leaps ahead of what version 10 offers after knowing and seeing the details. The default appearance will be a good improvement over what you find in terms of objects on the ground and their respective building textures/cars, but in terms of more enhanced road data and new mesh there's not a whole lot there. Pretty much the same data! There's plenty of room for a product like ours in the market, and still another 4-5 months till ship date for V 10 to even begin with. Enjoy!

When it's ready, and when we're ready.

It's due to additional testing and fixes of features already in place. This has little to nothing to do with Indi-, and I know almost no one more suitable for any X-Plane job than him. An installer has been available for ages. In fact, since day one of ANY RealScenery product sales. The new installer was necessary for quality purposes and a smooth experience. There is much more to delivering this product than the program alone...such as the backend server integration to drive the installer itself. The ENTIRE system has had an overhaul. Bear in mind that NORCAL was originally "completed" about a year ago and was only 10GB in size. The original installer was plenty suitable for the delivery of a product that size, however, we scrapped that version of NORCAL with new source data and the size has grown to a 40+ GB download. Changes are made as things are accomplished. None of this is a cheap process, you know. Considering the fact that X-Aviation is heavily involved with X-Plane 10 development, we're quite secure here. None of our products will not not be compatible with X-Plane 10. While you may not know all the features, we know MANY of them. There are no compatibility issues at all.

Already been made for X-Plane 10.

Gizmo is acting normal in that log, and the log shows no attempt to load any of the aircraft files in question. In fact, it shows Maxime was able to quit X-Plane on his own will there, so the log provided is not helpful.

Alright, so I've been called out in this little letter here. Guess it's my turn, huh? In your letter you state that Tom and I "have told us our reviews are destructive because they are not critical enough, and that we allow mediocre developers to pawn-off their wares on a gullible public, and that has to be accounted for." After reading that, I think it takes a little while to interpret what's being said here. I believe what you mean is that is your general consensus of what was said, and surely NOT that we told you that your reviews were destructive. What may surprise people here is what WAS really said by me, mainly because people are used to the censorship mentality from developers trying to protect their product. So, I'm going to use the good ole' number system and just state my points in a simple, yet (hopefully) effective manner and get out of here. So, here goes: 1. I believe you should be able to say whatever you want to say about a product, especially if you buy it. Regardless of such, I believe you should be able to say whatever you want to say even if you DON'T buy it! This is where I feel you guys fall short, simply because you are too worried about burning a bridge. We (at least at X-Aviation), have consistently told you to be as critical as you feel. X-Aviation takes this risk day in and day out with magazine reviews, online reviews (like Avsim.com), and even our own store review system. We have a live online store review system for people to share their thoughts and help other people make purchasing decisions. 2. I feel that the MSFS crowd needs to see what X-Plane can do from an honest point of view. You will earn respect and credibility from the masses when you're honest in your positive and negative views of a product. Remember...you're 'customers' are the users of X-Plane, NOT developers, so stop worrying about what we think when it comes to saying something good or bad about a product! It's like someone else said here: free media. 3. If your review is negative, chances are you aren't the only one that thinks so. You'll have a backing. If a developer truly cares about their customers and the product they are selling they will try and fix the product to meet the masses wants. This is similar to how we get bug fixes done. They are like mini-reviews from people that inform us what they feel is wrong with the product and where we need to improve. How do you think people would feel if we left everything unattended to? These three simple points are all I really have to say right now. You guys can do what you want with it. In my eyes, at this time, the only people being destructive are you guys to your own blog by not pushing forward amidst the raucous. Have faith...it works...in some form or another.

Because when it's not there people complain to have it in.

There's a few of us that have been working on various aspects of the sim or tech involved. I'm sure it will all come out in time. It's an impressive lineup for v10.
-
That's because Javier is one of the Laminar plane developers for XP 10.
-
It's not fan made. It's officially sanctioned by Laminar.
-
Why did you do that? It's an installer file. You don't drag anything, but rather launch the installer and let it do the work for you just as the update instructions state to do.
-
Sounds like you didn't update over an old version of the aircraft. The update requires that you update an already installed aircraft, not from scratch.
-
Markus is correct. The fix was for the gap between the panel and windscreen.

Should be fine. 9.45 is the lowest version of X-Plane Peter supports.
