  1. Around the same, actually.
  2. As this is an "Enhanced" line of product, yes, it's crisper.
  3. Testing out RealScenery NORCAL:
  4. What are your computer hardware specs? This sounds like either: A ) Outdated X-Plane version or B ) Low hardware specs
  5. Duplicate topic. This one is closed. Second one located here:
  6. I don't believe buildings are classified as autogen, however, the airport buildings will not show unless you have SOME autogen showing, which is what I think Ola is speaking about.
  7. Goran's hard at work trying to melt computers...

    Microsoft Flight Apparently On Hold

Time will certainly tell! There is a lot floating around....some say it is, some say it isn't!
  9. Hi, Brad, Can you confirm that you updated to the latest hotfix for XSquawkbox? It is not in the normal release just yet, but fixes a crash issue due to VATSIM changing their servers.
  10. Macello, Please try this again. My apologies!
  11. Marcello, Please see the following topic:
  12. Did you purchase this from X-Plane.org? This forum is for support of products from X-Aviation.com (that installer looks like the org installer). That said, in the spirit of assisting you and welcoming you to X-Pilot, I'll help you out. It appears your issue is in the library. Please do the following: 1. Go to your home folder. You can get to this by going to your desktop, then the menu in your toolbar that states "Go," then click "Home" 2. Press the following keys together: Command Shift G 3. Type in: Library 4. You'll now see a folder in there called "Frameworks." Open this folder 5. Delete the folders: QtCore.framework and QtGui.framework 6. Re-run your installer. Hope this helps, and welcome to X-Pilot. We'd certainly love to see you around X-Aviation too!
  13. Flight plans have nothing to do with manuals. Flight plans are carried out by airline dispatch. Pilots will still need to print out a flight release at the gate (small document prior to each flight, unique to each flight) prior to a flight. Flight plans are still entered into an FMC as normal. The only thing the iPad has to do with is eliminating the need to provide each pilot with 50lbs of paper to lug around every day.
  14. Because the paper is not going to be carried by the pilot. The paper manuals will now exist IN the aircraft, while the pilot will carry the iPad instead. It's significantly lighter.
  15. Looks like SpaceShipOne.

  17. Hi, there, Sorry we didn't get a sufficient reply to you sooner! In short, you're correct...there is no way to undock the instrument panel from the scenery at the moment. I'm glad you've found what sounds like a possible solution though! Welcome to the forums!
  18. Great job on this one! Looking forward to taking it around the pattern!
  19. Good luck on your venture! As a side note...last I remember, Mesaba will have nearly all Saabs retired around the end of 2011. CRJ is your likely bet knowing the state of Mesaba's fleet plan!
  20. Jim, You have to go download the updates. They are not issued by anyone but REX, and are a free download: http://realenvironmentxtreme.com/forum/index.php?board=31.0
  21. Hi, Michael, Welcome to X-Pilot! It's great to have you here. When moving in 3D view with your mouse, press the 'q' or 'e' key on your keyboard to lock the camera position. This will allow you to now move your mouse to a switch without the camera tracking the mouse. When done, you can re-enter 3D mode by pressing CTRL O. Additionally, for the CRJ, you can utilize the pre-set pilotview configurations as seen here: Hope this helps!
  22. Hi, there, That would make sense. 1.3 is required to work with other X-Aviation products. This does not make sense. Fly J Sim's Q400 is coded in Gizmo. It HAS to work with Gizmo! Do you have two versions of the Corvalis plugin running in your plug-in admin? This sounds very odd... Brakes are not something we control AT ALL with this software. Saved situations may cause issues with this aircraft because there are many custom drefs that X-Plane is not used to dealing with by default. Drefs are likely not being correctly saved in your situation setup.
  23. Dennis, As Jim has explained, this is the result of an de-activated aircraft. You are: A) Due for a periodic activation check-up or B ) Have re-installed or moved the C400 to a computer or HD without running the installer itself. If it is option A, it's likely that you do not have Gizmo installed. Perhaps by your own reasonings. Until you re-install the product or Gizmo itself, this will not work.
