  1. Version 1.0.1

Hey everyone, I found the stock checklist to be a little basic, so I made this expanded checklist in a style that I believe fits the aircraft. Checklist is based on real airline checklist for the 737-300. Big thanks to P3ROn for the help. (Please note that the preview image compression makes the checklist harder to read than it is in sim.) Installation instructions: 1. Go to your X-Plane 10\Aircraft\X-Aviation\IXEG 737 Classic folder 2. Make a backup of the current IXEG_checklist.png file (e.g. by renaming it to "IXEG_checklist.png.old") 3. Copy this downloaded IXEG_checklist.png to the IXEG 737 Classic folder 4. Enjoy. Please note that this checklist is not an official IXEG checklist. If you have any comments or gripes, they belong here or to me via PM. I can also be contacted at doctornerdrage@gmail.com. Safe flying!
  2. You may want to add your monitor resolution, because the difference of 45-55 fps at 640x480 or 2560x1440 does make a bit of a difference
  3. Ha! I've been enjoying the CRJ a lot lately, Philipp. It has really held its own. Thumbs up! It should be even better with the upcoming sound pack. (And you know what, the CRJ can even do pilot entered holds! )
  4. Should probably be added to the "features missing in 1.0" thread then to avoid any drama or misunderstanding about it. You can see people's hype and expectations in the relevant threads..
  5. Very good! (The Saab doesn't have engine sounds during replays. Unless that's been changed without me noticing and I am somehow making an ass of myself. )
  6. I think I got a little teary-eyed watching that Job well done to redpiper1 as usual. I see the 737 uses soundXtreme, as does my favourite aircraft, the Saab. It does come with one somewhat annoying issue though, and that is lack of sound during replays. Does that mean the 737's sound won't work during replays either or is that just something particular to the Saab?
  7. The Saitek TQ shows up as 3 separate axis so as long as it's possible to assign engine 1 and 2, there shouldn't be an issue.
  8. Nice update, cheers! In his defense, it was fairly hard to hear Jan
  9. Hey Tom, looks like an error in the Level D format. I just compared the CRJ-200 dataset vs any of the Airbus X ones (all the airliners from Flight Factor, JARDesign, Rotate seem to use it) or the GNS430 one (same format?). I'm also using NavDataPro and checked both the latest and an older set from 2014. The Level D format has the wrong altitude no matter what. Airbus X Format: FINAL,I26,26,I,3 IF,COD79,51.88496389,11.62938056,ICOW,75.0,9.0,1,3000,0,0,0,0,0,0 CF,OM26,51.87275000,11.54009444,0,ICOW,75.0,5.6,255,3.40,1,1930,0,0,0,0,2,0 CF,RW26,51.85837500,11.43570556,0,ICOW,74.9,1.6,255,4.00,1,646,0,0,0,0,3,0 CA,0,255,2,2000,0,0,0,0,0,0 DF,MAG,51.99498889,11.79430556,2, ,0.0,0.0,1,4000,0,0,0,0,0,0 Level D (OM26 only): <Name>OM26</Name> <Type>Normal</Type> <Latitude>51.872750</Latitude> <Longitude>11.540094</Longitude> <Speed></Speed> <Altitude>3000</Altitude> <AltitudeCons></AltitudeCons> <AltitudeRestriction>at</AltitudeRestriction> <Flytype>Fly-by</Flytype> <BankLimit>25</BankLimit> <Sp_Turn>Auto</Sp_Turn> Bonus screenshot.
  10. I've been following the updates posted on facebook but don't comment there myself. Just wanted to say that the latest livery shots are looking great. Can't wait!
  11. All due respect, Jan, but please don't question the abilities of Bill, Bob and Jebediah
  12. Reminds me of this:
  13. You really don't need to venture too far to find one in development.
  14. Aside from the fact that Jan doesn't seem to be a big fan of Airbuses (understatement of the year?), they have mentioned that developing an Airbus to the degree of realism IXEG strives for is likely close to impossible or simply not feasible. If you're looking for a good A320 or A380, your best bet is probably waiting for QPAC to get their update out. I could also see Flight Factor doing an A380, considering it's somewhat closer to the A350 than other aircraft. Neither of these will probably be as deep of a simulation as the 737C though. QPAC's A320 might get close some day
  15. Thanks, Jan! I see the 3D pilots item was stricken. Does that mean someone modeled and textured an accurate version of yourself? You know we'll be disappointed if it's not you in that seat...
  16. Brrrr, I feel cold just looking at that from California. Looking forward to taking the 737CL into winter!
  17. I'd call that almost criminal. Not to use your forum to advertise another developer - and you should probably stay far away from making a comparison in public to avoid drama - but do pick up Jack's two Boeings. They're an absolute joy and you're missing out, Jan!
  18. Thanks for the eye (and ear) candy, Cameron. I noticed that it's possible to open the windows and the mechanism even has a fancy little sound effect. Earlier in December, Jan mentioned: Does this mean the item can be stricken from the list? The noise level obviously changes already. Not sure about the effect on pressurization. Any other items from that list that could already be removed?
  19. Could we get a preview of said ground services menu? If it's in one of the videos, I may have missed it.
  20. Notice how he seems to have a lot of time for some great scenery development lately? He clearly needs to stick with the Airbus for a little longer
  21. Then again, the opinions are never against it. They only vary from "I don't care" to "Herp Derp I need muh wing flex", so I guess you can only win by implementing it (eventually). I personally like replaying landings over and over (and over and over...), and it's nice to see a little flex.
  22. Will it go faster if he doesn't?
  23. Just to be sure so I don't misunderstand you here... it will not be possible to enter a holding pattern over a designated fix in the initial release?
  24. If you need someone inept, I'm always here to help
  25. Oh no, X-Plane's very own Trabbi?
