Cool, glad to have helped. You may map any key or button of your liking to command 'LES/CMD/APCP/lever/AP_engage_disengage', this will allow you to engage the A/P after takeoff without rotating the camera down to the pedestal. You may also map a key or button of your liking to command 'LES/CMD/CW/button/AP_disconnect', this will mimc you are pressing the a/p disc red button located on the real aircraft yokes pilots use on final approach to disconnect a/p without removing the hand in command from the yoke. Remember to press twice: -first clic to disconnect and you will hear an audible alarm A/P to know a/p is going off -a second clic will clear the alarm hope this helps

other items that will trigger a to warning alarm when moving the throttles forward: -brakes set (disregard as per your comment) -trim not set on the green band -flaps not set for TO position -spoilers set (must be disarmed/off position) - i think, single engine thrust will also raise a config alarm but unsure.

ILS navigation advice please?
mmerelles replied to tull's topic in 737-300 Aircraft Systems and Operation
Hi Paul if you provide/attach some screen captures of your pedestal and forward cockpit display & systems we can see how the aircraft is configured and what the systems are telling for an educated answer abut what is missing. you may also be interested on the tutorial videos, there is a specific one for ILS approach. -
first thing that comes to my mind is "some amount of brakes are still applied", do you use brake peddals? calibration issue? can you attach some screen captures to see what engines are doing? and the xplane log.txt to see if anything there?
-
I think this is an issue with xplane that the cabin is lighting the cockpit as if no cockpit door were present. Try to change the seatbelt position to turn off the cabin light and see if this cure the problem for now

thanks

create folder ‘coroutes’ under the ixeg 737 root folder, this should allow you to save routes

Man, as said nothing justifies what you said that happened, in the other hand, you again having problem on the forums? I wonder what you are also doing wrong being all the time involved.

When you are aligned to the runway ready to start the take off roll, can you make a few screen captures for me to see your aircraft configuration? -Entire overhead panel -Entire forward panel -pedestal, to see CLs, and CTOT configuration? note: it will be also very usefull if you are approaching the end of the runway unable to take off and you can also do a forward panel screen capture, i want to see all engine parameters and displays at that moment having all that should be easier to understand what you are missing and giving you proper direction

Bria Configuration error, tipically indicates flap are not set, or trim is not set on the takeoff range. Did you double check that? Aircraft feeling as if no power and refusing to climb means you surely moved the condition levers all the way forward which is T/M, pay attention that just a bit before the end of the travel there is like a detent which is MAX and the correct position for the aircraft to produce torque. hope this helps

I do not have Aerosoft but Navigraph subscription, so i can not offer you specific details about Aerosoft Console One the Navigraph console, there is an option to "add" addons: -you clic add -select IXEG from the list -select target folder as /xplane 11/aircraft/x-aviation/ixeg 737 classic/fmc_data/ then ixeg shows on the list of addons, then you update.

My joystick script per aircraft assignment is still working just fine. i wonder what error do you get? without any information provided, it comes to my mind your new xplane install renumbered your hardware, and you are trying to assign over non-existing ids. have you tried going on xplane to plugins menu, flywithlua, macros, and run provided joystick button map script? press any button to see the id realtime and compare to your script.

yes most likely since they announced this coming but i haven't seen on the initial release notes so unsure if made it through for the first beta. But the big question, was the change for good or bad? I am at work unable to test till later today

I "think" he is trying to say while being in GPS NAV mode, on the EHSI the COURSE NAV pointer (blue light arrow ) is pointing to the left instead of forward in the direction the aircraft is flying to next waypoint.

No issues here so far, including ixeg 733 Updated my working xp to 11.10b1 as always do (do not do this at home please, people may result injured ). All my plugins including my external hardware yoke, peddals tq, radios seems to be working just fine. has to perform some flights yet to test new dynamics, landing on ground effect, etc. Thanks good ground no longer shakes, now i can go rest in piece

yes this is a known small mistake during 1.2 release but set to be resolved during next update. See a developer's comment on this.

Seems to me you use external hardware lever for landing gear, saitek or similar? After landing, your hardware lending gear is set to down, but if go instant replay back enough for the landing gear still being UP during approach xplane will try to set the dataref for landing gear up, but your hardware lever will impede it. So you have to move your landing gear accordingly. Xplane can not move your hardware.

Part 2 also available, VR, Vulkan, etc.

If your flight plan is A, B, C, D, E, F your are already at B and ATC ask you to resume at C, you simply press C LSK on the LEGS page, then press LSK1 (active waypoint) to override active waypoint with C and shift the entire flight plan up, then EXEC then engage LNAV, you may also engage VNAV if cleared to resume vertical profile as well. The aircraft will fly to C and resume. Hope this helps edit: i am unfamiliar about p2ATC, but on real life and also over online networks like Vatsim or Pilotedge. Is quite common depending on traffic conditions, you are flying at B and ATC tells you cleared direct to E. Procedure is the same: -Press E LSK on the legs page, press LSK1 to override active waypoint, press EXEC and now you are heading direct to E skipping everything in between and the FMC will resume the flight plan from there

ok roger that i will take as much pictures as possible interior and exterior of the terminal. the parking, etc. my only big concern is taking pictures of the terminal exterior side facing the apron, because that would require me being on the apron. Sometimes we descend via stairs, that would be a perfect time or i can try to ask for permission... will see

I am living at Mexico now for business, but i go there 3 or 4 times a year. Next trip is coming soon, last week of this month (october) and i will also be there again by the end of the year for the christmas. Sure i can take pictures i do not own a professional camera but an iphone 7, should it work? If you give me proper instructions what and how to take them for being usefull for you i can take as much as possible

thanks for the link, your work is quite impressive. I will download all of them and make some Brazilian tour on the ixeg 737. I did my donation as well. hopefully you consider my beloved home town airport SAZS (Bariloche) some day.

mmerelles replied to mmerelles's topic in General Discussion
Guys Skiathos v1.0.1 has been released, re-download from your account. Mine is downloading now, will report how it goes... EDIT: did a test flight, got rock solid 60 fps. The updated version works perfect!
