  1. Have you opened a support ticket with X-Aviation on this? Sounds like they will need to dig into the specifics of your account to figure out what's going on.
  2. RWC does not do anything with visibility. Its only function is to provide cloud type and placement data to SkyMaxx Pro based on whatever source of real weather data you choose. Visibility is handled internally by X-Plane.
  3. We'll need some more info - what are your Real Weather Connector settings, and are you using any other weather-related add-ons? Ultimately the problem may be the US government shutdown - we've heard that some NOAA data is not being updated as a result. From the looks of it, Real Weather Connector and SkyMaxx Pro are correctly representing the weather data it's being given; the issue is the source of that data.
  4. Cloud/terrain blend affects cumulus clouds that are intersecting with the terrain, for example cloud layers that intersect the tops of mountains. I think what you're seeing here is the edge of the terrain that X-Plane is rendering, which is a totally different issue. It's supposed to be obscured by X-Plane's fog effect, yet it isn't. I think there is a rendering setting that will allow you to tell X-Plane to render further out which may help.
  5. The US government shutdown has caused some NOAA data feeds to not function properly, so that might be why the data FSGRW is retrieving doesn't match current real-world conditions. If the US starts functioning again, that part of the problem should clear itself up.
  6. The last we heard from X-Aviation is that this error is caused by some custom DRM code in the TBM, and as such it's outside of our control. Make sure you're letting them know this is an issue in the TBM support forum.
  7. Your log indicates that SkyMaxx Pro started successfully (that's what "SilverLiningV4.clouds" is.) But the crash occurred after loading XPUIPC. Perhaps try removing it?
  8. I think we replied to this same question in another thread - but there is a cloud rotation slider in SMP's settings that you can just turn down.
  9. Honestly, even with a beefy system you can run out of memory if you turn up enough settings and install enough add-ons. At least try reducing your settings and see if it helps. There is nothing particularly intensive on the GPU about "HD puffs" except that they consume a bit more memory - which is consistent with the theory that you're running out of it.
  10. Which sky color set did you select in SkyMaxx Pro?
  11. Sounds like you might be running out of memory; most likely video memory if HDR is what pushes it over the edge. You'll have to disable some graphics options, or reduce SkyMaxx Pro's cloud draw area setting to get things within the bounds of your system.
  12. Look for a slider called "puff rotation speed" in the SkyMaxx Pro configuration screen, and turn it down.
  13. During our own testing I did notice X-Plane crashing on startup when loading a saved situation. At the time I assumed it was just a bug in the 11.30 beta run, but I see you're on 11.26. Just tried it again to see if I could debug it more deeply, but now I can't get it to happen. So maybe we were seeing two different issues, and the one I was seeing was in fact an 11.30 beta issue that was resolved. As a next step I would try a fresh install of X-Plane with just SMP, alongside your "real" installation. If that works reliably, then my best theory is a plugin conflict of some sort.
  14. Well, you do have a LOT of third party plugins, and custom scenery installed. I don't see any signs of known issues in there, though. That puts you in a spot that's pretty tough to debug. I think it's one of two things: - You may be running out of memory, either system memory or video RAM, which can happen if you have too many add-ons installed even on a beefy system (especially orthophotos) - Another add-on is corrupting memory that SkyMaxx Pro depends on. Either way, the only way to isolate the issue is to start un-installing things until SkyMaxx Pro starts working reliably again. You either have too much stuff installed, or something installed that is messing with us. One way to see if it's really a SkyMaxx issue would be to install a fresh copy of XP11 somewhere with no add-ons, add SkyMaxx Pro to it, and confirm that it works reliably on its own. Your NVidia video driver is a wee bit out of date as well... I really doubt that's the issue, but updating it couldn't hurt.
  15. That is indeed weird. Can you post your log.txt and a shot of your SMP settings so we can make some guesses as to what might be going on?
  16. I'll have to defer to X-Aviation for installer issues. @Cameron ?
  17. If you prefer the original look of SkyMaxx Pro, select the "Fast" and "dense particles" options in our config screen.
  18. When it comes to aircraft sounds, all we do is replace some of X-Plane's wav files with our own. We don't get involved in when or how they are played, and we certainly don't pay attention to where an aircraft started from. So, my guess is that this is an X-Plane issue. If you temporarily un-install SoundMaxx and World Traffic 3, does the problem persist? If so, I'd file a bug report with Laminar.
  19. Yes, "FSGRW / External Injector" is the right choice for use with ASXP. "Always" will bypass their weather entirely.
  20. That's actually a different issue, I think. @Cameron do you have any tips on this installation issue?
  21. I'm not getting that error here with 11.30 rc1. Can you try re-installing TerraMaxx and see if it still happens? Perhaps that library file became corrupt somehow.
  22. Try changing the sky color set in the SMP configuration. I think you're seeing the blending between X-Plane's sky model and ours there.
  23. Looks right to me. A bit bright, but that's probably just from the angle the sun is at there.
  24. Doh! You're right, in my haste to get this fix out, I forgot to update the version number shown in the SMP configuration screen. Worry not, you have the latest update.
  25. Yesterday I did make a change to basically double the rate at which the sky greys out when visibility starts becoming impacting, from storms or other conditions. I expect that will go out with our 4.8 update. Meanwhile, you could try switching to a different sky color set within SMP.
