Why not flying with a Glider so?

Write me a pm so when I'm on PC I'll send to you. Sent from Mad iPad's Tapatalk

Hi Tom, the scripts you are talking about we're made by two Italian guys from the x-plane Italia forum. They did a nice work, tweaking all the original scripts from avsim and enhancing them. They are, at the end, completely reworked and re-calibrated, like they were done from zero. And they perform very well. I can suggest the guys to upload them also here, or I can give you if interested, by pm. Write me of you like! Sent from Mad iPad's Tapatalk

Hi! Do not invest in a fast CPU if you do not invest in a faster GPU. The 750, but mostly the 2GB of memory will be a big bottleneck when you'll fly in complex sceneries with many objects, unless you want to use not so much details, and in this case you'll never use the full potential of the CPU. I strongly suggest to choose a less powered CPU like the 4570 (because x-plane does not take real advantages of multiple cores) and may be overclock it, and invest in a more powerful GPU like for example a 780 or 770 with AT LEAST 4GB of video memory. It was not so far from CTR (not airport) radars (but nobody is telling us if this was the case!!!). And the plane was well inside the range of it. Plus the sea it is not so deep to not receive some signal from black boxes! Sent from Mad iPhone using Tapatalk

I cannot believe this project will be freeware...it seems so high quality and detailed! Sent from Mad iPad's Tapatalk

Well...but even with transponder off, a primary radar trace should have been recorded by the radars covering the area. How is possible a plane vanish completely? Why nobody speaks clearly about the radar records? At least tell something consistent! Everybody can only think about a disintegration midair in this scenario! And all this rumors...in 2014??? And why they are searching in the malacca strait now??? Not to speak about the phone calls. This reminds me of the Itavia dc-9 tragedy in Italy in the '80s. No informations, no wreckage, many speculations...but in our times is absurd that the news are so imprecise!!! Sent from Mad iPad's Tapatalk

Ops...I must be tired...too late here...thanks...

Uhmmm...i missed the atmospheric scattering tweak...where I can find it? Sent from Mad iPad's Tapatalk

Hi Tom, nice tweak, also because it's automatically loaded at startup. I tried but I found the overall appearance really blueish...and somewere not really nice. Can you explain how to tweak that? I use HDR. Thanks a lot

Hi, a user of the Italian x-plane forum reworked the clouds texture and after I tried it I found that the light problem disappeared. This message is only to advise the developers that the problem is in this file, so in the next update it could be easier to fix. I cannot post the files here cause they are not "official" and I do not have permission....but at least now you know where the problem is! Cheers. Sent from Mad iPad's Tapatalk

Wow...my very first flight was on a DC-10 (i think it was that plane...) ok KLM travelling from Milano Malpensa to Amsterdam...in late 80s but at that time i was too little to know the history of this plane! Sent from Mad iPad's Tapatalk

I already reported the problem with the beta version...but they did not fixed it in the official released version... Sent from Mad iPad's Tapatalk

SMP 1.3 is ok for me, but I still have the problem with some light halo. I identified one NAMED_LIGHT (it's a white beacon light) that have this problem. As soon as I can I'll post a more precise feedback. Sent from Mad iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi, I do not know if this is the right topic but I would ask a simple question about uploading sceneries on this forum-repository. Is allowed to attach photo sceneries from bing or google with a scenery package? I usually post sceneries on the .ORG but I cannot attach photosceneries of the airport...is allowed here? If so, I'll post them here. Thanks for the reply. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I agree, mostly... I think the problem is when heavy overcast is present, in this case the too many puffs seems to have quite an impact on FPS, and I hope a future update of SMP will address this kind of problem. I was wondering if it could be possible that the "weight" of the textures could change dynamically based on cloud coverage, for example low res textures for 6-8/8 coverage and increasing the less the coverage is...or may be something like a way not to draw so many 3D puffs to cover all the sky. I hope to have clarified a bit my idea... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You have to open the package...and import it inside. Sent from Tapatalk

Yep I know...i hope also for other countries...like at least South America or Asia. Sent from Tapatalk

I hope in a better weather injector and updated roads map/seasons/meshes etc. And some but fixing, i doubt the 10.30 will carry major updates in CPU/GPU management.... Sent from Tapatalk

Will this plane have a custom FMS? I'm really interested in business jets but i hope the develop will include some more complex systems... Sent from Tapatalk

As I reported in the Gizmo update thread, I suppose the fps drop is related to the size of the textures of the coulds. because if there are much clouds on screen, the VRAM memory usage is really big, and so the fps drops dramatically. May be a texture tuning could be a fast solution, or another method to render the overcast layer that do not implies the moltiplicating of the clouds puffs...

4gb without any doubt. Sent from Tapatalk
