you and me both. Still working on it every day (except weekends...really need my mental breaks)....there's just tons of little details to tend to, especially with lighting control and tweaks. I just finished swapping out all the old exterior lighting with the new V12 lighting yesteday, so that's the latest thing I worked on. Still moving down the punchlist. -tk

I downloaded the new 2.0 updates for the BN-2B (reg and turbo). Thanks for this.. it is appreciated. A small thing... I do not have/use RealSimGear stuff (G5 and G500), but the install package included both versions in my system. I went to the menu, and it displayed 3 choices for the Bn-2B-26 and 3 choices for the BN-2T Islanders. Looking at the icons, it is not really obvious which is which. (if you linger, the tooltip will display the highlighted ACF file) I really don't have a problem with this.. it just clutters my selection page, for no good reason. What I did was remove both G500 folders and all the G5 files in each plane and stored them in a TEMP% folder. I gained 3.48 GB of space on my SSD, and my selection noew shows one of each BN-2B (reg and turbo). No big deal for me... but some users may need all the space they can get. Perhaps the installation should ask the user if the use: 1- G5 equipment 2- G500 equipment and skip the files that are not needed. Just a thought. PS - Both models look and fly great. Thanks again.

This is conciously done this way and I don't think we'll be changing it. Your suggestion is essentially how it was done before, and maintaining four installers for various scenarios (BN2B, BN2T, G5, and G500) gets very complicated not only for us, but also the customer should they later want those options. I won't bore you with all the scenarios a customer could get "stuck" in with regards to all of this, but I'll leave it at the fact that this is a much cleaner solution to many problems. That said, you bring up a good point on not being able to discern which is which, so we should probably make that more obvious in the icons.

there is an experimental version here https://blog.x-plugins.com/2023/02/gizmo64-version-23.html But it's unsupported and if anything doesn't work and you need to revert back you'll potentially have to reinstall aircraft that use the Gizmo plugin to ensure they are running the expected version

Latest Gizmo is installed when you install your addons. There is no new one just yet far as I know.

not very likely no. The cockpit texture, being the center of attention and in view for the majority of the time was optimized quite well for 96 DPI monitors IMO and still looks good......assuming a reasonable camera distance from surfaces. Also, since we did this work way back when, before Substance Painter was a thing...it'd be a massive undertaking to try that. Of course if you put the camera quite close to a surface, there will be 'jaggies', but philosophically, I'm not in that camp. I'd rather optimize performance for the 95% use case (pilot-ish viewpoint +/-) rather than the 5% use case (peruse 3D closeup under a microscope after buying). -tk

Really beautiful, but I'm afraid of FPS in the new version. I loved the 733 in v. XP11 for its excellent performance (FPS) and smooth simulation ;-)

It's a major re-write of code to get it properly working in 12, and that work continues. We will e-mail all customers once this has been released.
