  1. You are correct. On top of everything you mentioned, it is also easier to see the flex in the videos with winglets. Point of reference against background.

  2. There will be a resolution advisory, consisting of both the symbol changing colour/shape (red square), a voice advisory (i.e. "climb, climb") and EADI symbology showing a pitch target ("keep out zone") to achieve the necessary change in vertical trajectory. Jan

  3. Steve If you are flying VNAV / LNAV engaged and you change vertical mode by pressing V/S or FLCH for descending, LNAV should remain engaged and the the aircraft should remain following the magenta. If the aircraft stopped following the magenta while you engaged another vertical mode, something else happened unnoticed. If you see this behaviour again please capture and attach here a few screen captures of your forward cockpit to see what FMA a/p modes are telling, what the displays are telling, what the fmc is showing for diagnosing.

  4. I came across this video on YouTube of Lufthansa's last 737-300 flight and noticed that there was near to no significant noticeable wingflex. The weather was great, that's possibly why. Maybe in turbulent conditions there's more.

  5. Well said, I'm more interested in flying this beauty on those wonderful approaches. I'm not one for automatic approach and landing (weather permitting) This aircraft flys so well, stuff the wingflex it's not important at this point.
