  1. Would be wise to leave such claims to the developers, after all it's not your place to call a project you are not in any shape or form involved with dead. Actually, they are pretty active with responses on the other forum. It's still going, not so long ago Kiwi said it's coming a bit slower due to numbers of bugs they are encountering.

  2. It will need an upgrade to RWC, but this will be at no cost to current customers. Things will interact as they always have.

  3. Hi Jolmos! Oil press & temp is coming from xplane not ixeg, according to IXEG they will engage LR when possible for supporting them on modeling properly a jet engine that works and produce better output at different altitudes, temperatures and thrust settings. I have exchanged a few topics with LiJan about this already, coding this from themselves may take lot of effort and should come from the simulator. This is a non critical topic at this time because it does not affect the accuracy of what the aircraft produces and they are focusing first on the fmc, bug fixes and new features for upcoming release. Regards asymmetrical readings on the engines this is on purpose, not 2 engines are the same on real life. This is just fine. hope this helps

  4. Hey everyone! BIG update: Wing modelling is wrong (looks like 200ER wings with raked wingtips stuck at the end, fuselage is too low poly in contrast to the rest of the modelling, engine shape is wrong too (GE90-95 engines from the 200ER not the 300ER/200LR GE90s). I'm redoing most of the modelling, starting with brand new engine, fuselage, and wing modelling. Landing gear has been refined with better animations and the inclusion of the 300ER specific cantilever system on the front of the main landing gears. - The textures is another highlight, with the fuselage split into 4 sections - each with 4K textures with almost every nut, bolt and rivet textured. - Engines has been completely remodelled, with new cowling that accurately reflect the GE90-115B/110B engines. - The wing is one of the biggest change, from 7 wing cuts to a staggering 11 wing cuts, ensuring an extremely satisfying and smooth wing flex. Slats have been correctly animated, flaps mechanism has been modelled and so on. Enjoy the screenshots!

  5. Ye, you are right Morten! There is some restriction on the usage of the CTR pump on ground. But this is only a procedural restriction. Technically it possible to feed the APU from the CTR tank. Here is an extract for you from the Boeing FCOM concerning CTR pump usage: "If extended APU operation is needed on the ground, position an AC operated fuel pump ON. If fuel is loaded in the center tank, position the left center tank fuel pump switch ON to prevent a fuel imbalance before takeoff. CAUTION: Center tank fuel pump switches should be positioned ON only if the fuel quantity in the center tank exceeds 453 kgs. CAUTION: Do not operate the center tank fuel pumps with the flight deck unattended." Cheers, Tamas

  6. BTW Tamas, isn't there a restriction on use of the CTR pumps on the ground? Has something to do with risk increased of tank explosions due to temp rise is the CTR tank if the tank runs dry. This happened to a Thai 737. So maybe different policy's also on this around...
