  1. Sunday Beaver Update 21 Hey everybody, I guess it is time for another Sunday Beaver update after such a long time without doing one. Today, I would like to give you a sneak peak to the liveries that will come with the Beaver package and in addition to that another info about the release. So I will start with the info: As you probably remember, my plan was to do a two step release for the Beaver. First a the regular tire version for $24.95 and then the full package (regular, cargo and amphibious) for $34.95, with a $5 discount for the people who bought the initial release. I now made the decision, that there will be only one release and it will be the full package with all three versions and I won't be selling it for $34.95. It will be availabe for $29.95, so basically everybody will get the discount. In addition to that info now the sneak peak. Sneak peak, because the liveries are not completely finished yet, but in a state that is very mature for showing. Once they are all finished, you will get more detailed In-Sim pictures. Each version will come with two liveries, and then there will be a neutral diffuse map for texture painters to create as many liveries as they like. Regular Version Cargo Version Amphibious Version Neutral Diffuse Map for Texture Painters I hope you like the update and also like what you see. Again, I have to thank you all for your continuous support and patience, and I hope this update makes you aware that the project is still alive and that you will fly the SoulMade Simulations Beaver in X-Plane. You all have a great Sunday!

  2. If people feel uncomfortable disabling Firewall completely, you may open the port for the TCP connection the following way: For Windows 7: Go to Control Panel > Windows Firewall Click on "Advanced Settings" in the left-hand pane. Click on "Inbound Rules" and then "New rule". Select "Port", click next, select "TCP", and enter "7767" as the local port. Click next, and allow the connection. Click next again, and ensure that "Domain", "Private" and "Public" are all ticked. Name your firewall rule, e.g. "iGoConnect", and then save it.Regards,

  3. Clouds are work in progress and that process seem to take a loong time for sure. I too agree they may pull it through in the end, just very curious on how the end will look like.

  4. Do you have a development build of Outerra Tom? My understanding is that their new clouds are still a work in progress. So it's a little premature to speculate on how they might perform or look outside of a carefully staged video, especially when flying through them. I am a huge fan of their work too, though. They probably will pull it off in time.

  5. Being away from my simming PC i'm collecting some hardware upgrades for it. Today my new MSI GTX 980 Gaming 4G arrived, so i hopped into B1900 to test how the card handles X-Plane. Counting days until my Dell U3415W 34" 3440x1440 curved 21:9 display arrives. It is going to replace it's smaller brother Dell U2913WM 29" 2560x1080, also 21:9 aspect ratio. Eager to do some serious IFR 3D cockpit flying when my new monitor arrives. Coupled with TrackIR, the huge ultra-panoramic display (5000000+ pixels) should improve my immersion factor. At least i do hope so! ... but in the meantime on my desktop PC (slower) + Dell 3007WFPHC 30" 2560x1600 (16:10) :
