My girlfriend recently gave me a present that she thought I would think "was silly and an old people thing." Bah. I open it, and it's an envelope overflowing with aviation stamps from around the globe (primarily, actually, from former members of the Soviet Union and other communist states). Wow. However, upon going through them all, I found one real winner... It's an Li-2 of Air Koryo from 1974. I'll post some more of them soon because some are pretty cool (four with Concorde on them, lots of stamps regarding the founders of aviation in their respective countries). I just don't really have time right now but this one blew me out of the water... wow!

As a few others have noted it has been a pleasure being a member of the beta team. Reading all the positive comments about SMP v2.1 just confirms that the testers did a good job in bug smashing and pushing and cadjolling Frank and John into creating the best product it can be. What is even more pleasure is to see Frank come into Xplane Dedicated's live streams. XPD is based in the UK and even with time differences Frank and John will pop in to see us. last night we even had ramzzess join us for a while. How cool is that. Wycliffe

Grey skies at GCLP for leg 23 of Worldflight 2014. Flying the leg for Qantas Virtual as a Worldflight approved team! Letting QFA25 (fixed sim team) go ahead and as the controller said, "he's much bigger than you!" Airborne and out of the low cloud.

Also be aware there's a "reset" button now in SkyMaxx Pro 2.1. That will get you back to a reasonable starting point for performance optimization.

Actually, the secret (of looking so good in this case) is not the settings themselves (no magic inside ), but the time lapse. SkyMaxx is a great product, though - and now with V2.1 the cloud shadows are much more smooth in movement on the ground and the time lapse looks good, too. With V2.0 it wouldn't have looked this good.

Me too - the support on Sky Maxx has been awesome so want to support John and Frank as much as possible.

The Russian textures do look very nice, but I don't want to have to change them manually every time I want to switch. I'm going to wait for John's product....
