  2. Almost landed It was a long-long journey. The development in the last few months slowed down as hell But finally fixed up all the small things which I thought needed for a good-quality plane. I know, there are small bugs here and there, will fix them later - or if the community will, I'll include in the next release. Still, there are a lots of things to do but there is no point where a "product" is ready, you just freeze the development at some point and release Need few days for creating readme and some documentation on paint templates, etc. This release (v0.9) will include: XP-9 version with 2D panel (compatible with XP-10)Cargo version (FARNAIR - HA-LAR)Passenger version (manx2.com - OK-UBA) without passengersPaint templates Flight Manual And here is the planned roadmap: v1.0 (only XP-10) 3D cockpitv1.1 Some basic plugin functionality for engine modelAnd maybe custom sounds, but not sure if I can get proper quality sounds

Sunday Beaver Update 11 Things were a little slow again and actually I hate to make updates like these, but I also just don't wanna stop doing them, because I said that I will do them and at least I have a few things to talk about. 3D Cockpit and Cabin: The cockpit, animations and manipulators are almost bakc to a fully finished and working state, after I did a heavy re-work in order to support additional external hardware. I know this is kind of feature creep and it actually took me some tim, to come up with a suitable approach and then to re-work a lot of stuff. Maybe I should have decided against it, but on the other hand is was important. Final testing is still outstanding though, but I hope all will just work fine. Sounds: I worked a few hours on sound files this week as well, in order to have proper engine sounds. I had already a great base for the sounds, but I am in the process of improving them and I have to see what can be done and what can't. I am not using the XP standard sound engine, which gives kind of poor quality, and it also doesn't allow to use multiple sound files for the complete engine rpm range. Using a custom sound engine means that I have to prepare the files in a way that they make a smooth transition from one file to another and also that the fading and everything is OK. That means a lot of trying, tuning, tweaking. Kind of trial and error until it fits. Plug-In code: Another session of code clean up and optimization. I could also leave it in the current state, but I just can't stand "ugly" and repeating code. That's just me I guess. You all have a nice Sunday!

  4. Work continues on MAXX FX and its time to give you an overview of the included themes. I figured the best way to represent the impact this add-on will have to X-Plane was to highlight each one in the same scene so you can see the changes. MAXX FX is born out of the idea that not everyone is happy with the colors in X-Plane 10. This add-on gives the end user complete control to tweak and enhance the overall appearance. Additionally our video guys in the community can now skip with post process filters and such.... MAXX FX is very FPS friendly, as a matter of fact it has little to no impact on frames. The first 10 themes are what we call our "mild enhancements" and the last 10 are the more extreme..... Users can create and share themes with the community using the "Power User" option and it works in both HDR and Non-HDR mode......   9. Here is some new pics of my Cessna Citation X for X-Plane. I have been working on the interior of the aircraft and will be working on the animations soon. I can't seem to get any more photos to upload so to see the interior pics go here. Please tell me what you think! Enjoy, Jordan
