  7. As promised before, showing something visual You can overweigh the plane (in a certain range), also get CG out of the envelope, so you have to carefully plan before any flight If you're more like in a "just jump in and fly" mood, you'll be able to that as well of course
  8. Slowly, but steadily getting there... nothing visual to show at the moment though. Also, life happens, so there are "gaps" in the dev, but it's in progress
  9. Finally managed to compile the rain plugin for the L-410. There are small bugs here and there, but definitely a huge step forward!
  10. Sadly there's none at the moment. The next (public) update is going to be the payware version - I'm focusing on that in the next few months. I'm not planning to update the free version in the near future.

This is an open-beta update, so I won't update the download section until I'm sure it's fine for a proper release So, please take her to a nice trip and let me know how it goes. I've been working on lots of small fixes, mostly for XP11, but there are some new features, which makes life easier flying around with the Let Updates: Reflective windshield Reflective instrument glasses Added cockpit view limits, so you can't get inside the instrument panel and fall out on the side window - handy if you're flying with TrackIR A/P update by @drwindows which was linked in a previous post (thank you again!) Increased the instrument lamps' strength, looks better at night Removed the background texture from behind the instrument panel - was a "hack" for instrument reflections which I never finished properly Decreased ADF freq selector's strength, makes it easier to set Updated flight model: tuned trims, flaps and engine parameters for XP11 Working Nav2 Added TO/FROM indicator for HSI Removed reflections from outside OBJ's, not needed anymore Pitot overheat at low speeds (failure) TODO Cockpit lights to be set to 0 when cold start Flashing ANN instead of steady light Side panel LIT texture fix (some elements light up at night, which shouldn't) Normal map fix for outside objects And the ones which I forgot to add to my list Update outside OBJ files with latest XP11 features (reflections, PBR textures) Kollsman window in the 2nd altimeter RPM&TRQ tends to stall after a proper shutdown + restart Hope I can keep up the current pace fixing the bugs and make a beta release in few weeks. Fingers crossed. In the meantime, I'm working in the v2, which will include lots of custom systems: you'll really have to read the manual to fly this beauty properly otherwise, you can end up having no engine at about 4000 ft

  17. Just a small update, playing with rain again Also, finally finished the CG calculation, so if you're not careful, you can easily tip-over the L-410

    That's really weird, I'm not overriding the rain_percent... maybe the NOAA plugin? I'll have a look without the plugin loaded and see if does something funky Thanks for the clarification!

    Hi I'm currently building a simple rain effect on the L-410 and I bumped into a problem: when I'm using NOAA weather with SkyMaxx, and SkyMaxx draws rain/snow, the rain_percent dataref can be still 0, as SkyMaxx using a different source for clouds/precipitation I'm wondering Is there a way to get the rain_percent or similar which is used by SkyMaxx? Thanks in advance! Mihaly
