toddskee Posted Sunday at 09:43 PM Report Posted Sunday at 09:43 PM Chiming in here. I had the same problem above and spent a good part of the day trying to resolve it right down to a clean install of X-Plane. I was about ready to give up and then I found this thread. Thank god. It was Windows Defender in my case. Since fixing that, I've been a happy camper. Truly, it's a beautiful plane and a joy to fly. I do feel bad for X-Aviation and TorqueSim that the "first impression" for some of us had to be this case of vexation. Past all my frustration, It was not their fault and the project itself did not deserve this grand opening in my opinion. I'm glad it's resolved and nice work to those that were involved on this project. In the end, I feel it's money well spent. 2 Quote

Jim&Barb Posted Monday at 07:24 PM Report Posted Monday at 07:24 PM Sorry to add to the woes, but hopefully more info helps. Same problems as previous submissions. No wheels, no operable internal manipulators or switches except pedals via my external pedals (they do move plane's rudder) and my external yoke (steers plane, although plane's yoke not visible). My external throttle also speeds or slows engines, but internal throttles and gauges don't move. Can actually take off and fly, but only active instruments are two center PFD's(?). Using Mac desktop with Monterey. No quarantines in virus software (Bitdefender) or FlyByLua (only has one weather related script anyway) or Mac "Privacy and Security". And, of course, log,txt is Greek to me. All my other X-Aviation planes work just fine, including Challenger 650, but of course, they all use Gizmo, so not relevant. Log.txt Quote

And unlike macOS 12, macOS 13 is still being supported by Apple (and hopefully TorqueSim!). To quote EveryMac: Quote Finally, this model is fully compatible with macOS Ventura (macOS 13) with the exception of the minor Live Captions in FaceTime, Emoji Dictation, and Reference Mode with Sidecar features. It does not support macOS Sonoma (macOS 14) or later. Edited Monday at 09:34 PM by Pils Quote
Jim&Barb Posted yesterday at 12:15 AM Report Posted yesterday at 12:15 AM Pils: Quite right. For whomever it might help, I first upgraded to the final ver of Monterey (macOS 12). No discernible improvement in the problems discussed above. Then upgraded to the final ver of Ventura (macOS 13, the highest OS my computer can handle). As far as I have explored so far, everything appears to be working as it should. Which is great, cuz I REALLY wanted to like this plane. 4 Quote

Yes, your Windows Defender has also removed the CitationJet plugin. In Windows Security > Virus & Threat Protection > Protection History Tab you'll find where this would be displayed. Quote

If you have an alternate Anti Virus than Windows Defender, it's possible that quarantined it. Quote
