So many developers (including XPlane/Laminar Research) lately are issuing incomplete "beta" products, thus turning their paying customers into unpaid testers for products still in development. I much prefer to be patient and wait until all, or most, or the bugs are ironed out and the product works according to the developer's plan. There will still be tweaks and adjustments but that way the customer is assured of getting something reasonably close to what they paid for. Quote
