Thanks! @Motosuwa and @OuterMarker, While we test, can you both do me a favor here? Let's rename your plugins folder to plugins_bak, then create a new folder called 'plugins'. Move SilverLining and Gizmo64.plugin from plugins_bak to plugins. Now start X-Plane. Does this in any way improve the situation? Can you both also tell me which version of Gizmo you opted for? Okay, seems stable. I do not have AS running. I've tried with and without beta settings in SMP 1 Quote
Cameron Posted January 22, 2021 Report Posted January 22, 2021 Just now, OuterMarker said: Yup, Gizmo beta and the issue is gone with only Gizmo, SilverLining, XPLM and XPWidgets. Okay, we're getting somewhere! That tells me this is not related to aircraft at least. Unfortunately the only way to narrow this down will be to move plugins one at a time from the _bak folder to the new plugins folder. I would love to know what the culprit is here, and really appreciate your time! Quote
Cameron Posted January 22, 2021 Report Posted January 22, 2021 @Motosuwa, Thanks much! Please do as I described one post up as well. Pain in the butt, I know. Quote

Cameron Posted January 22, 2021 Report Posted January 22, 2021 Can you corroborate @OuterMarker @Motosuwa? Quote
Noksi Posted January 22, 2021 Report Posted January 22, 2021 I can confirm, in my case it's XPRealistic as well 2 Quote

Motosuwa Posted January 22, 2021 Author Report Posted January 22, 2021 @Cameron I'm bugging out of this as mine has been stable since XPR2 remove. I will use V4 till patch. Let me know if you need anything on my side and thanks for you help! 1 Quote

Like the Cirrus Jet. For the moment, I have reverted to SMP V4 as we are flying online, but I will test a default aircraft and report back. Fabio Quote

Kai Uwe Pel Posted January 22, 2021 Report Posted January 22, 2021 I also can confirm too as I am also with ASXP + RWC1.2 + V5. Only if I disable the XPR2 plugin, V5 works well with charm! 1 Quote

Daffy Posted January 22, 2021 Report Posted January 22, 2021 I unticked "Natural movements" and "Ground Shakings" in XP realistic v2, and now both plugins work correctly together 2 1 Quote
niftyguy239 Posted January 22, 2021 Report Posted January 22, 2021 Can confirm XPR2 is the problem. although turning off the above does not help me. Disabling it completely works. 1 Quote
Noksi Posted January 22, 2021 Report Posted January 22, 2021 There must be more then just "Natural movements" and "Ground Shakings" because even with both of them disabled I get the memory overflow and single digits fps. That's for the default C172 with the Cessna_172SP by Francisco profile Quote
simnut Posted January 22, 2021 Report Posted January 22, 2021 I get better, smoother frame rates with SMP4 and all my plugins (which isn't many) than I do with SMP 5 and a bare bones plugin folder. I hope they can figure this out as I bought version 5 and can't run it. Like you, my ram maxes out running SMP 5 with my "not so many" plugins , getting single digit frame rates also. Quote

I would expect the same issue with other add-ons that implement "head shake" of some sort. If you have anything like that installed, try disabling it. Quote

niftyguy239 Posted January 22, 2021 Report Posted January 22, 2021 After having both V4 and V5. I am getting much better frame rates (after disabling XPR2) and the clouds look soooooo much better. Thank you. Only downfall is XPR2 is a must for my airliners. I hope it gets solved. Thank you again. 2 Quote
