Yes! You'll want to use the "external injector" option under Plugins / SkyMaxx Pro / Real Weather Connector to take advantage of this improved integration with ASXP. Be sure to follow ASXP's integration instructions for X-Plane as well; X-Plane weather should be set to "custom metar (rwx) file" pointing to the metar.rwx file in your X-Plane 11 folder. Then, enable SMP mode under ASXP's Options / Simulator Options / 'Use SkyMaxx Pro depiction mode" screen.

More on this to come.

testing now , making a route LGAV-EGLL , weather 100% accurate exactly as it is on ASXP + the weather comes from the front smooth with out any abruptly loading transitions. Also now skymaxx is using different type of clouds + more layers ( or is my impression..!!)  anyway still testing.

I think it’s a beta issue for XP I’ve seen it reported before by users using the default clouds....

It's using additional clouds that were always there, but previously only accessible by FSGRW.

Hi,

This is a great addition to SkyMaxx!

Quick question, should "Never change visible Weather" set to On or Off  in RWC to match the clouds depiction in ActiveSky's XP Radar Map screen?

Regards!

I would leave it on in order to avoid any sudden, disturbing changes in the weather around you. If you think the weather is out of sync, you can manually force an update using the "Force weather reload" option in the SkyMaxx Pro plugin menu.
