FSGRW and icing

I'm using FSGRW + Ultra Weather and for some reason flying in freezing rain doesn't accumulate any icing on the wings. If anyone is using FSGRW and do you guys ever seen ice?

i have the same weather combination, and i had some ice (not much) yesterday on a flight.

Check your "configure visual effects" settings in the TBM900 plugin menu.

We use X-Plane itself to determine when icing occurs, so if it's not showing icing, that's something you need to either take up with FSGRW or Laminar. In any case, X-Plane internal conditions to get icing accumulation are approximately:

1. Precipitation present (the more, the stronger the ice buildup).
2. OAT between -5C and -20C. Any warmer or colder and you won't get ice accumulation.

yes, getting ice with FSGRW.

good news, will be using fsgrw and UWXP until XE 1.10 gets out or Active Sky Xp gets released

 

I supposed that Wet returns should be displayed on the WRX radar right ?
