Defiance_co Posted December 20, 2016 Report Posted December 20, 2016 Hiya, You're Welcome Also, if you get an APU error, post back here and i'll link the fix, it's a quick job in plane maker if needbe Tony 1
Denco Posted December 20, 2016 Report Posted December 20, 2016 Thanks for the offer Tony. Luckily I've already fixed one of the planes that way. Regards 1
Rayeus Posted December 21, 2016 Report Posted December 21, 2016 I've noticed the aircraft is harder to control just after touchdown, with it wanting to slide about. Has anyone else noticed this?
Defiance_co Posted December 21, 2016 Report Posted December 21, 2016 Hiya, I'm sure Catstrator mentioned something similar on a stream, this weekend gone Im off to bed but will have a check tomorrow, i don't mind sliding a bit as long as i come to a safe stop lol Tony
Sidestick380 Posted December 21, 2016 Report Posted December 21, 2016 Hello, i've also notice that is impossible to open the x-plane menu once loaded the igex. But as soon you start the battery it works again! The only thing actually that i can't find is how to Arm the speedbrake. Any suggestion? Ste
Rayeus Posted December 21, 2016 Report Posted December 21, 2016 To add to my previous point. I'm also experiencing 'weather veining' whilst on the ground when the winds are strong. This also happens with other aircraft so it could be XP 11 has some funky friction modelling going on? It also makes for some hair raising departures with a strong cross wind! Sidestick380, I've assigned buttons (toggle speedbrake up/down) and it works for me.
Sidestick380 Posted December 22, 2016 Report Posted December 22, 2016 Thanks Rayeus, i will try again. Anybody else getting trouble with the new Gizmo? I can't open any menu and most of the airplane is not working. Xp11b3 igex 1.0.7
cmbaviator Posted December 22, 2016 Report Posted December 22, 2016 No issue for me in beta 3 Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk
cmbaviator Posted December 22, 2016 Report Posted December 22, 2016 But since XP11 my shadow lay doesn't record any sound, any idea ? Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk
AlesCCZ Posted December 26, 2016 Report Posted December 26, 2016 What I noticed in XP11:Displays not look like a CRT, but as an LCD. (No reflectivity and no dark "edges").Opening the door does not work.Engine 1 is sometimes set to reverse. (Do not know the solution, helps only restart, probably a mistake XP beta).Everything else seems to work properly. (I did not try in the XP10) This is an amazing bird!
AlesCCZ Posted December 26, 2016 Report Posted December 26, 2016 (edited) ...and... I am looking forward to the reflective materials https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvhC02jD6Fc Edited December 26, 2016 by AlesCCZ
Denco Posted December 28, 2016 Report Posted December 28, 2016 (edited) Is it normal for the spoiler to do such a bad job at slowing down the plane on the decent or is this just an XP11 quirk? Even if I extend the spoiler fully the plane will pass it's target speed with a decent rate of 2000 FPM. Edited December 28, 2016 by Denco

Even if I extend the spoiler fully the plane will pass it's target speed with a decent rate of 2000 FPM. normal, it is a very slippery aircraft, you need to manage your speeds with anticipation, descending at 2000 f/m will not help reducing speed, it would more be below 1000 f/m depending on your current speed and altitude managing with FLCH can help to understand what that plane needs to be slowed down 1
Denco Posted December 28, 2016 Report Posted December 28, 2016 Thank you mate. So to understand you better you recommend me to use FLCH instead of the VNVAV?

So to understand you better you recommend me to use FLCH instead of the VNVAV? yep, definitely, VNAV is not 100% bug free as I understand, and real world flying with all the controllers around and restrictions, traffic etc, you never get to fly a descent VNAV anyway, plus you get a real situation awareness and immersion due to that. I do not miss VNAV in this plane. It is so fun to do it yourself, you just need to prepare your flights a bit more in-depth. For the lazy auto pilot flying from take off to landing I have the PMDGs ;-) 3
Mangouste Posted January 5, 2017 Report Posted January 5, 2017 Hello I just bought xplane 11 The IXEG 737 work With the xplane 11 ? Thank You. 1
Maurits Veen Posted January 5, 2017 Report Posted January 5, 2017 The IXEG 737 works almost perfect -APU doesn't work -Menu doesn't show up sometimes 2
Tchou Posted January 5, 2017 Report Posted January 5, 2017 The menu shows up when the plane is powered up. The APU can be restored using the planemaker trick.
Mangouste Posted January 5, 2017 Report Posted January 5, 2017 OK Thank you Do you know what to do for the Planemaker ? I confess I do not know this tool.
whoispankaj Posted January 5, 2017 Report Posted January 5, 2017 If you search you will find it in some post here..this was discussed a few days back.. 1
Aviaxtor Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 Hello, as the title says, could you please give an update on the XP11 compatibility update? Many thanks, John
Morten Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 Hi Jon, at this point the XP11 beta is still very much a moving target, like new flight model stuff is added etc. and plenty of bugs so it is just not yet possible to support at this point. This is perfectly normal for a new XP version and we expect things to settle in a few months. Besides the aircraft with exception of a couple of very minor issues works very well atm. M

sdflyer Posted January 9, 2017 Report Posted January 9, 2017 I concur 737 is flying great in XP11. Unfortunately wew beta 5 brought some frame rate issue, but it doesn't stop me to fly it. Very addictive airplane. Looking forward for more development
