Normals for Mitsubishi MU-2b-60 (64 bit version) by Leen de Jager
Recently a new version/update of the Mitsubishi MU-2B-60 has been released by X-Aviation.
This version is for XP10 64 bit only.
Due to various changes, the normals-set I previously published cannot be used for this version.
Herewith I present you a new normals-set for the MU-2b-60.
How to install:
Download MU-2B-60_normals.zip and unzip it to a temp folder.
Read the enclosed PDF carefully.

N937BB Livery for MU2, Version 2.0 by TOGA Simulations.

This is a livery for the MU2, version 2.0 by TOGA Simulations. This livery folder name has a integer prefix, which is not required, feel free to rename the folder; however, beginning with the MU2 version 2.2 (not released as of this posting), I (TOGA Simulations) will be implementing a system whereby you can associate a livery with a tail number using these integer prefixed folder names and an associated text file. When 2.2 is released, the MU2 docs on liveries will be updated to reflect this system. In this way, you can assign tail numbers that match liveries that will be utilized in X-Plane for ATC and online flying.

JGX Designs Cessna Corvalis Normal Maps

This is a normal_set for the excellent Cessna Corvalis TT-model (aka the Columbia 400).
Model made by JGX-Designs , available at X-Aviation.
Can be used in XP 9 and 10 !!
Some days ago I got the Corvalis as kinda birthday-present ( be assured ,it was strictly legal ) and I was very pleased having this bird in my X-Plane collection , I really love it.
Its very unlikely I`ll find my way in the extremely sophisticated instruments/panel of this plane.
Its not to blame the plane , nor its great manual.
Its just me , I am just a painter, I am not a pilot.
Being a painter , I was quiet disapponted to see this plane having about fourty excellent default-liveries.
Adding another nice one would be , bringing water to the oceans.
Nevertheless I could not withstand the temptation of adding something I was missing.
Some more gloss and adding normalmapping to the model enhanches its appearance in a great way.
Thats all I did.
How to install:
Just place the files from this upload in the Corvalis main Objects folder.
Please make a backup from the C400_2.obj file in the main Objects folder first.
Thanks to JGX-Desings for giving me permission to publish the edited OBJ file.

Piper Tomahawk Breitling

I deeply fell in love with this lovely bird ,
Painting it has its limitations , nevertheless this was really a challenge , doing some almost impossible paint-things.
This skin depicts the original within the limitations of this model as far as I was able to do.
This set includes normalfiles with speculars for plane , interior and pilot.
It also includes a customised walnut-panel ( for the 3D cockpit-panel only).
Doing research for this project , I met Charlotte Forrestier , the lovely Swiss lady-pilot.
How tow make a nice looking woman from an ugly male pilot ?
Never ever expected to do that kind of job
Well ..... please meet Charlotte !!!
If you do not already have this model, begin downloading and installing it.
Building-in this livery:
Unzip this upload to a temp. folder.
Copy the folder named Piper Tomahawk Breitling from this download into the LIVERIES-folder of
the airplane..
Copy the files named obj3.obj and obj3_NML.png into the main OBJECTS-folder.
Placing these two files here will have NO influence on the existing liveries.
They will only enhance the beauty of Charlotte Forrestier , our female pilot for the Breitling
Tomahawk.

BetterTBM - Modified Cockpit Textures for Hot Start's TBM-900

As we all know, the TBM-900 by Hot Start is hands down the most detailed aircraft for X-Plane (and maybe all of flight sim). But, nothing, not even the TBM, is perfect. That's why I've made this mod. BetterTBM aims to improve the cockpit textures in general and also fix some minor issues, many of them caused by issues within X-Plane.
What was changed?
- Many edits to the normal maps (most of these edits prevent sunlight from peaking through the panel where it shouldn't - an X-Plane issue)
- Many changes to thee ambient occlusion (ambient light shadowing)
- Very slight changes to the panel color to match X-Plane's lighting
Installation
Step 1: Place the "objects" folder in your root TBM-900 folder. ("X-Plane 11/Aircraft/X-Aviation/TBM-900")
Step 2: Merge and replace files when needed.
Step 3: Enjoy BetterTBM!
Hot Start's TBM-900 can be purchased here. I highly recommend it.

Morane Saulnier MS 893A Rallye - French Marine

Repaint and visual upgrade for the Morane Saulnier MS 893A Rallye .
This fine freeware ( XP10 version) ) model is available at the XPFR website.
How to implement this French Marine livery:
First make sure you have downloaded and installed the original plane.
If you did you have a folder named MS893A_Rallye_v10 in the General Aviation folder.
Unzip this skin-download Rallye Marine.zip into a temp folder.
Now you`ll find a folder named MS893A_Rallye_v10 (likewise the one you already have)
Just place the folder MS893A_Rallye_v10 into the General Aviation folder overwriting the existing folder/files.
Thats all , you`re ready now.
What happened:
A:
A liveries folder has been created with the Rallye Marine livery in it.
If you already had a liveries folder the Rallye Marine has just been added.
B:
Normalmapping has been added to the default model and other liveries .

This is a repaint of textures provided by Alabeo, and includes a replacement texture for the interior to remove a lot of the scratches and damage, and remove the yoke and roof strut shadows that were painted on.
