alstr started following Crash when shutting down aircraft and Where'd my fuel go?
-
I just did a flight LSZA - LXGB with 7,000lb of fuel which exceeds the block fuel stated in Simbrief. I paused for a short while mid flight, but not a huge amount of time. When I came back, I nudged the X-Plane flight config time backwards to carry on from where I left off. I flew a little longer, and I noticed it looked like I had a lot less fuel than I remembered on the summary screen. The prog page of the FMS was still showing a roughly correct number though. Shortly after landing I got APU pump fail and mid way through the shutdown everything just went. I have no idea what happened. Screenshots below. Also see the crazy hydraulic numbers that seem to happen every other flight now. (Extra weirdness: after switching back from replay mode I fell through the floor into outer space. The aircraft livery also reset mid flight). Please correct me if not but I don't think these hydraulic numbers bugging out are just cosmetic. I swear every time they go crazy some other bizarre sequence of events is triggered off the back of it. Apologies for posting a few threads recently but it seems clearer to start afresh than trying to merge things together.

Probably a mathematical error from using Rosetta again.

By the way, to anyone who looks at this thread in future, I figured out a way to resolve the hydraulics issue. If you keep pressing the brakes until the brake pressure values match the system pressure value shown above (~3000) then they stay that way. You could probably use a Lua script to repeatedly toggle them to resolve it quicker.

When I turned the aircraft generators and battery off after landing the sim crashed. There's nothing particularly special about how the CL650 reads the Throttle 1 & 2 axis values, as long as they're assigned in X-Plane. But this assumes the throttles aren't being held down by the red locks, or some other binding.

Is it planned that the weather radar of the XP12.4 version can also be used in the CH 650? I would consider it a worthy addition to this excellent aircraft. At least it would be a further step for me towards a real simulation of the aircraft.

Cirrus SR20 Entegra not working on XPlane 12 on macOS Sequoia
diamonddriller replied to jp235789's topic in G1000 SR20
Apparently the SR20 Entegra will not work on a silicon Mac (but it will under Rosetta, I am sure), although the SR22 Entegra will work natively on the newer Macs. I presume that "they" have not yet done what is necessary to get rid of Gizmo64 for authentication - and, maybe, Gizmo is used in other functions of this particular version of the plane. If you run the SR20 with X-Plane 12 in Rosetta, it will use the provided Gizmo, and will work perfectly. Ben Russell wrote a version of Gizmo to work on "M" Macs - Gizmo64 LTS. You can buy it for a small sum, and others (and me) have found that it works on just a few of the older planes in the X-Aviation fleet that would work in X-Plane 12 in Rosetta, but seem to be OK without Rosetta, using this version of Gizmo. The SR20 Entegra does work, using this version of Gizmo. However, to be fair, this is not really approved by X-Aviation, and they are working to eliminate Gizmo throughout their "fleet", and implement their newer activation system. Some planes (the IXEG 737 is one) were apparently using Gizmo for a lot of their functioning, and just won't work properly with this LTS version. The only downside of having to start XP12 in Rosetta is a small frame hit. If you are on a new Mac, it will hardly be noticeable, but may be a nuisance on (say) an M1 machine. I don't know. -
Some times I have loss control of trustmaster airbus throttle quadrant, virtual throttles appear, and no reaction on my levers... only 650 strange behaviour

Hello, Neither the Mu-2 or Challenger 650 throttles don't react to my Saitek X52 joystick. All other models do, just these two. Any help please? Thank you!

Hi I bought the IXEG 737 Classic Plus and Install it in my PC and now I'm having problems with the plugins. I tried in my second PC and same error, can you help me to fix it please? Log.txt

I can't seem to get this control to work. Looks like there's a power button but pressing it does nothing and the volume controls don't change anything either. UPDATE: It did start working once the engines were started and the gens were online, but wouldn’t work with just battery or gpu power. I was hoping to use it to reduce the volume of the gpu. It’s way too loud inside the plane and the volume doesn’t change even with the cabin door shut.

Apologies for the late reply. I'm working on a large update for the DC3. I'll make a note of this and address it.

Entegra PFD + MFD is blank and even when I have set the engine to run by default - the engine's not running and can't seem to find a way to get the engine to start.

OK, fair enough, but on videos of the Hotstart Challenger on Youtube, as well as the Challenger in real life, the altimeter runs smoothly in climb or descent - is there anything I can do settings-wise to get them running smoothly? The actual FPS in-sim is as smooth as butter.

No, they’re a fixed refresh rate, to represent the irl units.

Hi folks, I have beautiful FPS in the HS CL650, particularly in light of its complexity. However, the framerates of CPT's and F/O's PFDs are poor. Is there anything I can do about this? The altimeter in the climb, for example, is very bitty, rather than smooth as it should be. Many thanks

Can't reach MU-2 v2 Preference Screen
Burnspot replied to Burnspot's topic in Mitsubishi Marquise MU-2 v2
Okay, I think I solved it. After the above attempt, I uninstalled the aircraft completely and deleted its folder in XP. Re-installed the aircraft, ensured I was launching under Rosetta, and loaded the plane...activation window appeared and I was able to successfully register it! It still doesn't appear in my licensed list, but it's now fully operational. Thanks for the Rosetta hint! I'll go close the ticket I put in the other day. -
Can't reach MU-2 v2 Preference Screen
Burnspot replied to Burnspot's topic in Mitsubishi Marquise MU-2 v2
I was not; I'm pretty new to running XP under MacOS, having retired my PC last year, and was not aware of that option. I went back and checked the box to start XP with Rosetta. Launched XP12, selected the MU-2 and, this time, got the activation box. After filling it out and submitting, nothing happened; the MU-2 still doesn't appear in my licensed list. I did verify that I was running under Rosetta. Maybe I need to un-retire my gaming PC? -
