  1. I was only 'stirring' or joking about speed rain, but if you're offering....but don't let it delay release date by more than 3 months - hehe.... Good that goran noticed the flickering too- I thought it was your amazing video production skills!
  2. Agree everyone, I too noticed the 'automatic rain', but give 'em a chance! Jeeze, n moving wipers alone are very rare on xp, let alone rain. Any pushing of the envelope is greatly appreciated, or else that is all we'd get- paper planes. Ha, I'm sure next vid will show droplets proportional to weather settings and airspeed, with droplet direction influenced by wind direction. Furthermore little rivers of water left by the trickles, pooling of water below the wipers, and finally dust particles mapped to the window as the rain subsides! Nah, we're not picky!
  3. Hey kaphias, yeah u can post vids in the forum, just create a new topic and away you go. Would be good to see such vids. :-*
  4. Mr highlife (real crj pilot) has posted some great procedures and systems vids, like this one, they look almost as real as Javier's vids!
  5. Hi guys, best to contact Robert the dev. On the org forum. Enhanced version is best though, a well deserved donation to him will get that.
  6. Looks great Cameron, one day your work will save me having to stuff around with G2XPL! If you see my Javelin over Phillip Island video and like it, please add our fair city of Melbourne to your joblist! ;D :
  7. A question from Andy my fellow Melbournite, reminded me that I hadn't done a javvy vid for awhile, where better to film it than over our own 'island escape'. "I wasn't speeding officer, and the penguins were asleep!" Only a Quick edit, not perfect, but kept me busy waiting for crj and Norcal scenery...... Who says xplane isn't beautiful!
  8. Hi Andy, sorry this Simon from Melbourne has nothing to do with the CRJ - other than being a loyal fan of Javier's, I've posted quite a few vids of his beauties on Youtube. Thanks for watching my videos! Yes the latest release of "G2XPL" I used to suck in the scenery I've really got humming, the phillip island textures are incredible. Your post has reminded me I haven't done a Javvy (Javelin that is) video for awhile, so I just spent a cupla of hours now flying and a quick edit, to post another vid on this forum, yet another tribute to our genius javier. I'm quite happy with it, considering the quick edit. Javier's taught me to be ruthless in my editing nowadays, never over 4 minutes eh!! Will post when Mr Youtube does his work...Check here in about 90 minutes: http://www.youtube.com/user/id5556
  9. me too!!! hahahaha ;D So do I : hahee, you'll be glad to finish! But then again, if u have an unforseen delay, at least u get to play with your toy! Turn all the lights on, off....on, off..
  10. The CRJ will be groundbreaking, but I'd be careful about talking about "the" aircraft. But don't let that stop you from trying out X-Plane now. There's a demo you can download. A few of the default planes are good, many are not. But there are gems amongst the payware and freeware and you'll find on this site lots of gems yet to be released. As for $100, sssshhhh, some of us future customers aren't made of cash ;D Agree wholeheartedly! Yes, a new era's dawning, but you gotta try the existing paywares especially - I've just been flying Jason Chandler's BX206 helo to death, it feels so right...(that sounds dirty.. ;D ) plus my video channel's clogged with Javier's creations that will go down in history as the start of something big. Gotta keep everyone happy, so yes, the Mu-2 has made me poorer too, the handling of that is appropriately scary, and so on. And yes, $100 is far too much, $15.95 with a free Javelin and steak knives (seamax insignia engraved) will be better, might have me interested

    Project 3

Hi Meshboy, yes glad ur joining us in our exciting xp journey! The waiting's fun, but there are already great aircraft available - eg most of the ones from x-aviation! My vid channel is clogged with em! Also, I find the eadt 737 has all the systems you speak of ( auto land works a treat), plusive discovered Jason Chandlers helos handle beautifully. So, my fsx discs are slowly degrading already! Yes, glad someone else enjoys the feeling of flight in xp, it beats fsxrails.
  12. Thanks so much Javier, wonderful as ever. Crj over norcal, at night, what a combo!
  13. Fanstastic screenies and a teasing vid! Puhleeeze, when out?
  14. Ha, yes this is a classic case of "no news is good news", the deafening silence from the devs is a good sign, an ominous calm before all is unleashed (cue deep bass rumbling sound)
  15. Nice heartfelt MSG mdmax. I'd send one as long to Cameron every time I reconfigd my pc, to ensure I kept access to my javelin/seamax/moo. Happy to have some inconvenience to stop 12 yo's from threatening future developments. Such drm keeps prices down as well. Unfortunately, some human contact is probably the best form of security, in these days of sophisticated yet easy piracy.
  16. Yes, Javier has always been/clearly still is, very helpful. And yes, you should be able to pull up nicely, I love short hops into my local ga airport ymmb moorabbin, that's not long
  17. Good news, I was getting worried. I missed you...
  18. Great and informative update Tom. And to think I thought the beauty of the moo was class leading already! A well lit cockpit will be greatly appreciated!
  19. Real crj pusback vids-Saw this awhile ago but forgot to post links. These are great vids by mr highlife (lucky bugger...). Amazing, it looks almost as real as the xplane version! Simon
  20. Goran, feedback as requested: please move these pics to a new thread: Xporn ! Interesting to hear the challenge of joining each panel correctly. seeing this is starting to remind me of the 'scary' impression of the747 cockpit, wit so many actuators and dials, just great. Not sure if it was u in these forums (doubt it, no time....), but as a reward I thought I'd post the link to this funny thread. You have some very demanding customers out there! Simon http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=273330&st=0
  21. Thanks for ur comments on the slowmo vid zac and theo. Yes, the prevailing winds must have been strong to push the smoke fwd! I think this might be another glitch? The winds weren't that strong! The flappy winged 737 must be some bug with the slowmo replay, I've told Benedict. Very strange but funny. I enjoy exploring the limits and new ideas with this ultimate sandbox.
  22. Thanks Bob. Yep, I use 'reallife 09' that includes puffsmoke & clouds. Actually the 747 landing is quite rough, but I wanted to highlight physics of xp.
  23. For all X-aviation fans, plus a chilled-down approach for all stressed & tired developers! Pretend the xpfw 747 is Goran's...try very hard...
  24. Seeing this brings back so many memories! I never really remembered what the large flat lever on the right was for (flaps?) so I'll enjoy mastering it. Yes, this looks like a work of art. As an active member of the flightsim network, I promise I'll start posting previews of this very soon! Actually, with the look of this, tomorrow!
  25. Wow Ola, I'm slow so have only caught up with your posts re. Your scenery just now. It looks great! After enjoying javier's Lesa so much, I hope more people like u give us beautiful scenery. Looking fwd To some low passes over the playground. While I'm at it - anyone know what is out there that is comparable to Lesa? I love the night textures, hence my seamax and javvy vids of it. So much of the freeware stuff is not textured nicely, and I know I'll get sick of howdy's areas within months!
