  1. I've just completed my first few hours of flying FSEconomy ... it's an absolute BLAST! The only issue is that you're stuck with not flying your favourite aircraft if there isn't one available for rent . Yesterday I found it impossible to find a rentable JS32 for instance ... very frustrating, but the upside is that my virtual bank account now has over $8000.00 ... so as I banked my earnings a cunning plan began to formulate ... is there anyone on this forum who are non-affiliated who would like to form a co-operative in order to maximise earnings and increase our buying power to own the various aircraft that we enjoy flying the most? I don't know if there's an FSE advantage to starting a formal group, or if a loosely knit group is the best ... but eventually I suspect that we'll want some sort of formal group going ... The aircraft I like to fly are in no particular order of preference; Moo (rented it once!)JS32C90B (easy to get this one)C208QDash727and of course when the SAAB comes out I'll want to fly here as well, but as I said, it's difficult to fly a working combination of aircarft, assignment and location ... so who's interested? Cheers!
  2. I'd have to agree that the levels of simulation in DCS is pretty awesome. I dream that we'll get the same degree of hyper realism/ complex aircraft in X-Plane ... but that's just my preference. I do believe that the levels of high fidelity in X-Plane are heading in the right direction; SAAB and iXEG. I hope that JRollon's aircraft (particularly the JS32) and I know that Tom Kyler's MU-2 will, receive upgrades through to the future. On top of that X-Plane offers a more complete world and as I'm not really into air combat these days, I much prefer X-Plane .. but hats off to DCS!
  3. LOL! Now that would be extremely cool! But then ... anything from Leading Edge is gonna be cool .
  4. Advantage of FSE though is that you're interacting with other human pilots ... rather than AI pilots within the game, unless I misunderstood what AirHauler is?

Beautiful scenery! I live in Australia and tried downloading stuff from simheaven, but connecting to the German file servers is just too slow for me .. constant time outs. I wish they'd mirror their files in the US ... I get decent download time from the US!
  6. I know that FSE supports different SIM platforms (XP, FSX & Flightgear) ... but who on this forum flies FSE using X-PLane ... and how do you rate the experience? Cheers!
  7. Mate, I think you'll be vying with Nicola soon as the resident rotorhead! Nice work (I know they're stills, but you look like you've got the knack for flying these inherently life threatening airborne transportation devices). All I can say is that I'm glad I'm not trying to fly choppers in RL .. otherwise I'd definitely be viewing the forum from 'the other side"!
  8. I found an old post by Arrowhead on the ORG (and verified by Cessna729) mentioning that if you replace the xap plugin folder for EADT's KLN90B GPS with the 64Bit SASL it'll work. I think I'll give this a try as well. Have yet to test UFMC with the Moo.
  9. Yep, I do what pcartier said on the Moo. On other aircraft such as KingAir C90B, FlyJSim's (Q-Dash and the 727) and on JRollon's JetStream 32 I use Javier Cortes' UFMC which works very well. Once the route has been created in the UFMC it will show in the 430 as well, then you switch to GPS, select NAV etc as previously. I use the first method as illustrated by pcartier when I'm feeling too lazy to play with the UFMC, however using the UFMC has distinct advantages, such as planning SID & STARs .. only thing is that VNAV doesn't always work. Just last night I was thinking of creating a Moo profile in the UFMC and seeing if it will work ... I really miss the XP Reality Garmin 430 .. unfortunately it only works 32Bit and the devs don't answer emails. I wish that some other more empathic to X-Plane dev would take up the challenge and create a workable and high fidelity Garmin 430 for X-Plane ... or ... if it eventually matures in the core of X-Plane itself, now wouldn't that be the ducks nuts!
  10. Is this version 1.5 compatible? Cheers!
  11. The Beechcraft KingAir C90B ... what a great plane! I wish this one was payware so that it had the same level of detail for payware planes (e.g. the MU ), for I'd surely buy it. I hope it reaches glorious high fidelity completion some day (or at least a twin turboprop KingAir of some description!)!
  12. A day in the working life of my JetStream 32 .. flying between Christchurch (chris.k's fantastic airport) and Palmerston .. Scenery is the NZ Pro HD mesh for X-Plane by alpilotX.net.
  13. Can't wait to fly these in the Moo!
  14. What else? My true love is back ...
  15. LOL Cameron ... It's a ritual several times a day. Believe me when I say that X-Aviation makes the X-Plane experience complete for me .
  16. Love the new Moo product page on www.x-aviation.com .... it's a long weekend here too, Queen's birthday!
  17. Tootling around on the internet .. saw this ... FS Global Real Weather is a fast loading, easy to use, weather engine for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, Flight Simulator 2004 (from V1.7) and Lockheed Martins Prepar3D. We are planning to support X-Plane in the near future.
  18. Wow! Great looking livery as well!

Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you ... at last an A320 from a developer who's work I love and trust! Javier, I look forward with extreme anticipation to your Airbus masterpiece! Oh bummer .. just finished reading the gist of the thread
  20. Very happy! Thanks! @ Hobofat ... an around the world trip sounds like an ideal way for a first outing in 64bit Moo!
  21. Dear Navers, As a fellow user I implore you to please be patient and all things will reach their happy conclusion in the fullness of time. I believe the CRJ-200 upgrade is only a small (but important) component of an overall strategy by X-Aviation to deliver consistently mature products for X-Aviation customers (I base this observation on reading the forums here ... which you should frequent too, seeing as you bought the product here ... and that Cameron et al are all round great guys!). To their credit, they (X-Aviation) have stated unequivocally that these things can't and won't be rushed. Blue skies!
  22. They are CRJ-200 buyers The dude (or dudette) bought the CRJ-200 The purchase site purchased from X-Aviation.com. The dude ... or dudette ... purchased aforesaid CRJ-200 from X-Aviation The purchase did in 12 May degree The transaction took place on the 12th of May You the possibility of knowing the fact which in this plane.org it upgrades with 64bit in advance is but it does not execute and not to be able if meaning of a passage in X-Aviation.com and the contents is not and will be solid it gives a meaning of a passage in you. Did you know ... that this plane already has the 64bit upgrade @ XPdotORG; which I duly downloaded and tried to apply ... but the flippin' thing don't work!! I suspect that this is because I bought the initial software package from X-Aviation; which doesn't yet offer the 64 bit upgrade due to ancillary work ... however it's taking a long time. 64BIT there will be a possibility of receiving UPDATA data and it peels Currently with 32BIT it is applying meaning of a passage it gives on the description below which has the fact which had become UPDATA in existing. Is there a possibility of receiving the updated data ... because I feel like a piece of fruit or vegetable that's been left unconsummed after being peeled (I understand this feels downright 'orrible!) It is possible and entrusting it gives at many sides e-mail. I trust (and hope) that it might be possible that anyone with a cogent answer (and the ability to use Google Translate) can send me an email e-mail: road21s@naver.com Email address ... Cheers and happy to be of service! Kris
  23. X-Plane .. still being developed ... FSX dead buried and it's stinking carcass exhumed over and over ad-infinitum ... I don't give a tinkers toss about FSX ... and I'm bowing out cause we've effectively derailed a perfectly good thread .
  24. in addition to what Cameron said ... see what Cooley has to say in this thread about the JetStream (from post #3 onwards).
  25. I don't play ANY games. Hands too full dealing with life ... and all my spare/shed time is spent flying X-Plane; which isn't a game .
