  1. Dammit Doris, they're crop dustin the neighbour's paddock agin ... better cover them chikkins back in the barn ...
  2. G'day Chuck, X-Plane doesn't use the registry but the joystick axis has a registry value if it's configured in Windows. While X-Plane takes care of it's own axes ... my guess if its all mussed up on the registry level it won't be getting proper values in X-Plane to begin with. Here's the link btw!
  3. It just occurred to me that the OP might have snafu axis settings in the registry. There's a utility that lets you reset them ... I think there's a link on the Digital Combat Simulations site by a guy named Peter P. I'll see if I can locate it.
  4. and if you bought it thru FlyJSim you should have an email and a link ... 2 updates, one for the Dash 8 and the other for the 727 (assuming you've got this one as well!) .. happy days!
  5. LOL, I'm guessing Chuckfops that you're the same person as Launchpad McQuack ... http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?showtopic=66315#entry722961 I don't see any 'evidence' (as in factual data based observations) on the ORG post you made, just a lot of subjective hyperbole. It's sounding like you're on a crusade; in light of the fact that the solution has been provided.
  6. Bloomin' gorgeous mate!!
  7. That Comet, she's a beauty!
  8. Thanks Cessna729 for the insight . Lol ... I'm a right old duffer, I read the first part of the thread about how it was going to be released and then all of a sudden it looked like people were already playing around with it. You've definitely made my day! I'm off to play with it now. Cheers!
  9. Where can I get the remote CDU or link thereof? I'm a X-Aviation CRJ owner, but don't recall getting an email about this ... although it's highly likely that I could have missed the email ... Very much looking forward to this! Cheers!
  10. Egmont National Park view out of the port window. I was actually en-route to Wellington (having just downloaded the jaw-dropping NZ Pro by altpilot, but experienced engine problems in the port engine ... therefore I decided to divert to New Plymouth (NZNP) ...
  11. Flying freighter from Melbourne to Sydney ... XP clouds are getting better!
  12. I love this aircraft! It just handles so sweet ... On the apron @ Armidale Terminal (YARM) ...
  13. That was fantastic Flightime56! I love the 'older' planes ... especially Boeings!
  14. Good advice w9nwrwi, except if you delete everything could be a hassle to re-installl some plugins ... the GNS Garmin comes to mind. Probably at minimum one should remove Set X-Plane.prf.1.axes & X-Plane Calibration.prf to begin with and start becoming more aggressive from there? Cheers!
  15. At Tamworth airport (YSTW)
  16. I want one! Do you have any extra details on this aircraft?
  17. PlanG looks very comprehensive ... downloaded and it's building it's XP database now. Thanks for the tip for using Route Finder to work out the route!
  18. Welcome aboard!
  19. Yep I like NORCAL too and will be buying it when it comes out ... I'd like to start the rumour that the NORCAL scenery is a practice run for a near future Real Scenery's first continental release .. AUSTRALIA hehe!
  20. Well, they obviously fixed and worked on a bunch of other stuff; which is a good thing. I like the way XP is developing over time and it's enhanced magnificently by the 3rd party developers. I feel nothing but good vibes for everyone involved in improving XP, whether they be primary devs or 3rd party devs. I wish I could shout them a beer!
  21. I agree have the same perspective as Litjan on this ... but thanks for the idea though!
  22. Wowsers! That's gorgeous Tom. I have my pennies ready as soon as we have a release. I hope you make the manuals available before the release date of the actual aircraft. I fly a lot of Heavy Metal these days, mainly the FlyJSim 727-200F and the JARDesign A320neo. Got a question though, would there be any direct benefit to prepare by become familiar to the Eadt Boeing 737 ... or not? Cheers!
  23. I want a blue one with jet boots!
  24. Thnx for the information Chris ... (have I told you I love your work? I love your work man! YSSY and YPAD are glorious and REALLY come to life with HDR). I am running 4x SSAA + FXAA and love the atmosphere, but looking at the issue more carefully I notice that the anomaly for me happens on the FMC screens of some aircraft (I know I initially said all .. that's incorrect). Specifically it looks like an old VT100 style terminal that's lost it's sharpness and clarity ... or like an LCD screen that's been damaged so that the characters are incomplete and unreadable. It happens for both 64bit and 32bit modes). The aircraft I have noticed this effect is on the JARDesign A320neo (all MFD's & FMC screens), the default KingAir C90 (FMC screen only) and the FlyJSim Q400 (FMC screen only). The EDIT: Also on the FlyJSim 727-200F (love this aircraft) it affects the green LED that let's you know at a glance which COM/NAV radio is active ... Cheers!
  25. Just curious, because up till now I've not really bothered with it. Today I've turned it on but it still seems to make my MFD's (and the display on the FMC) just go dark regardless of the plane I'm flying ... I'm running XP 10.20 (stable). In case it's an issue with my card, I've got AMD Radeon 7800 series card and running the latest Catalyst 13.1 drivers (stable). I've tried searching on this but the HDR thing doesn't appear to be current anymore ... any input/ideas greatly appreciated! The Edit ... probably should've reworded the subject as "Is HDR rendering in XP still an issue for some?"
