    The installer was AMAZING! Very smooth and flawless! Never experienced anything of the sort... Nice UI, ran perfectly! The only problem was that I kept getting errors that windows wouldnt let me access the file, but running as an admin fixed it. I think that problem is just me though... Nothing real

    All I can say is congrats guys, it has taken years, but I'm sure it will be worth it. Conveniently startup repair is currently fixing disk errors at this time... I will buy ASAP!

    No, most likely. There was news about providing an update with user submitted airports. The airports are supposed to be low quality, made with only auto-gen default WED objects. I personally, do not approve of the "plausible world" idea. Basically, they will not release anything of the sort.. just a downloadable free update.

    Just picked up ILM on the extremely generous deal! First scenery I have bought for X-Plane... Amazing, maybe I have been missing out Perfect spot for the CRJ... I hope.Forest fires in the backround...19R at KIAD.Touchdown!

    I wouldn't say the C172 is really a "bush" plane.. more just GA. Go for the C185, and the expansion pack if you want a good bush plane.

    Very good news! NorCal will pair excellently with the SAAB. Perfect range for the aircraft.. Someday I will enjoy flying KSJC-KSAN over beautiful RealScenery NorCal!

    I am no expert either... but if it isn't a huge financial issue, go for the over budget build, because the i7 will be quite useful, especially in X-Plane. Also get Windows 7

    Sorry for overlooking Alan's c172, it is indeed amazing. I personally am not a Carenado fan. I have A2A's c172, it is the most realistic simulation I have experienced. FSX is the way to go if you are looking for high graphics and addons.

    None of those things you have listed are included in X-Plane default. Try unchecking the "Compress textures to save VRAM" option. The X-Plane GPS default is quite "bad", and the default aircraft aren't the best. There is no high quality C172 that I know of. I believe that the default airports will be filled with buildings very soon in future updates.
