  1. Sydney to Melbourne in the Airbus. I usually fly Boeing but it is interesting to see the differences between aircraft systems. It was a fun and eventful flight that was made interesting when I missed the top of descent and had to make a rushed descent into Melbourne.
  2. It is a bit of long story, but I have a week of holiday and I have ended up without my joystick. As a result I have spent the last few days in scenery development working on YTYA. This was just a quick test flight for a bit of fun!
  3. Hopefully you get a reply! I remember the name Rod McBryan from Ice Pilots NWT.
  4. WOW, that looks crazy! I'm loving the 3d propellors. Bring it home guys!
  5. XPJets really are artists, considering how old that plane is. When the payware is released one day I will be a very happy man!
  6. Bank job sounds like a good idea? Tom, can I see FSX style reflections on that fuselage or is that just brilliant texturing?
  7. Alright, go for it! Just make sure your case can also accommodate any future upgrades. With the CPU you have chosen you will still have a lot of fun in xplane 10.
  8. The CPU is very good, close to as good as it gets for x-plane. The thing that is going to let you down is the GPU. I encourage you to wait and save up for a GTX 660Ti.
  9. Great to hear, what exactly is a developer alliance?
  10. Expensive weather forecasting equipment is over rated...
  11. Hanger animation anyone? All controlled by your aircraft's battery switch...
  12. I have the same stick with no problems. Try to recalibrate and move through all directions of motion.
  13. Get everyone in the community building lego brick scenery and submitting to robin.
  14. I can tell you now, that is not the freeware XPJ 777. Before I say anything more feel free to explain yourself...
  15. A few more shots for today... Remember that I can't turn on HDR, I can just envy those who can. Enjoy
  16. It is a fare point but it just because of drivers... If you are using a PC, a nvidia card at the moment is simply superior (due to drivers, but amd cards are not bad technically). If you are using a Mac you have very little choice, but if you can choose an amd card is not a bad idea (this is the minority though).
