This one supposedly includes a texture for dirty wings, which you can apply separately to all your liveries. https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/33690-ixeg-737-czech-airlines-classic/

Just FYI, there seems to be a free BSS package for the IXEG. To my knowledge it's not a full replacement, but contains some complimentary sounds. However, it appears to be replacing the whole sounds folder.

I think I understand what you mean, and I had not noticed that this happens to all the switches in the cockpit. Maybe due to alignment/positioning the effect goes unnoticed or as normal, I don't know. But this is what startled me in this case, maybe I always dragged it. I'll have to pay attention to that effect to the other switches to confirm. As in this case it's left to increase, right to decrease due to the knob moving counter-clockwise. However, if that's the case (intended design) and we mean the same thing, it seems to me more ergonomic/expected from a scroll-wheel perspective, at least where the HSI panel is concerned, that when I scroll forwards the knob moves up and when scrolling backwards that it moves down. (i.e scroll forwards > FULL VOR, scroll backwards > plan). The reverse is happening at the moment, it stands out when scrolling I guess because, the turn is counter-clockwise compared to the RANGE knob, which feels counter-intuitive to me at least

Hey IXEG team, while I was setting up a flight yesterday I noticed that the map mode knob seems to be moving in reverse to my scrolling. I've made a small gif for it, I cannot show you my scrolling atm ofc but when you see it moving towards VOR/ILS I'm scrolling backwards, to go to plan you have to scroll forward. Could you confirm on your side? Plane version is latest, 1.32 This seems to happen in both CP and FO HSI panels. P.S. I looked around if anyone has reported something similar lately, it didn't seem so, hopefully didn't miss it.

Take Command! IXEG 737 Classic v1.32 Update Released!
ktomais replied to Cameron's topic in General Discussion
Hey Jan could you confirm if this is still the official paintkit please? -
Hey Nadeem. The landing lights have already been adjusted in v1.3 and above, after a long back and forth between some users and Jan. Now, as Jan is the only one that has seen them in real life during 10+ years, if he thinks they're as they should they most probably are. Unfortunately if you find them too dark, I don't think there's a fix for you there. Make sure to also use your taxi and runway turnoff lights, if this is not the case, as they're also normally on in night conditions and add greater horizontal visibility than the landing lights alone. As you see below they don't really light up too much. Have you considered looking at your monitor settings? Possibly your gamma and near black levels are crushing shadow detail, hence you see everything pitch black. Lighting conditions can also play a factor here, if it's monitor based. Oh come on! Make it, pleeeaase.

Awesome, thank you for the update @CaptBirdy looks great! Unfortunate that the decal cannot be replicated but what can you do, no need to apologize ofc. Thanks again, it looks very sharp, 5 stars! And since there's no in-service Lufthansa 733s or any that flew with that livery I don't think I can oblige, Jan.
-
Hey thanks for the updates! Might I kindly ask you when you find the time to include the yellow box near the door for the Lufthansa livery, as seen below in the photos. Also, if I'm not mistaken the tail logo should be a bit lower as well, no? Again, thank you for considering these adjustments and for your great work.

As the video shows it's due to the XPlane ground model, that is now used instead of the custom one. Hopefully Austin will improve it soon.

Take Command! IXEG 737 Classic v1.31 Update Released!
ktomais replied to Cameron's topic in General Discussion
Hey IXEG team, Downloaded, loaded the new plane. Now I see this message on the top left regarding Gizmo (version vis on screenshot). Is it expected? Thanks for the feedback! -
The 733 already has a lot of custom work on top of it and has been credited by pilots of the 733 as very realistic, hell it's even made by one... I'm not sure where you see the flying like a Cessna. Also you should enable the experimental model with the new update.

Weird texture issue when toggling side menu or views
ktomais replied to ktomais's topic in Bug Reports
It must have indeed been X-Vision! Not sure I would call it a hack though, it's a purchaseable add-on. But maybe I'm not totally aware of how it worked. Issue is now resolved - disabled/uninstalled Xvis. Seems I hot-posted. You may delete, lock or resolve as you see fit! Thanks for checking. -
Weird texture issue when toggling side menu or views
ktomais replied to ktomais's topic in Bug Reports
I'll be checking them out for sure. Just wanted to see if anyone has seen it as well in a "clean" XPlane. Thanks! -
Hey IXEG team, I noticed this weird behavior with my 733 when toggling the side menu or preset views menu (see photo below). I am also running X-Vision and Reshade on top of X-Plane so I can't exclude those being a culprit. Is the menu dropping a shadow on the plane or has some weird interaction, either in general or with XVis or Reshade? If you could kindly confirm or refute on your side in regard to default X-Plane. Thank you.

Nice to see you're updating it Nicotum, thanks

I will check it out, thanks!

Hey IXEG team and thanks again for the bird and V1.3! Might I suggest that we "demote" Jan fictionally (sorry Jan!) so he can give us speed (mostly thinking of V1, rotate, positive rate ones) and possibly other call-outs as first officer? He would be forever immortalized with the IXEG733. I think that this suggestion, should you choose to implement it, would pair nicely with the conversion to FMOD. I hope I'm not reposting an already given suggestion here. Cheers!

Check! Thanks.

Take Command! IXEG 737 Classic v1.3 Update Released!
ktomais replied to Cameron's topic in General Discussion
I'm quite annoyed and disappointed frankly, on the small amount of users, that come here uninformed, rude and entitled to write sensational posts concerning the 733. The team has been very, very open from the beginning for the "shortcomings" of the model. As well as providing a target and intentions for upcoming releases and updates. You simply haven't read it. It's quite the shame for these people, to come to this forum to address our concerns with any issues the update might have brought about, or simply request and features that come every day... and to see these kinds of reactions and posts. By all means provide criticism, even if it's about the timeline, but be at least a little bit decent for crying out loud... If you have even read any of the posts, especially by Tom, you would know how they feel about it, and how they are planning to remedy that as soon as is humanly possible. These people have lives you know. Making models for us, probably also for them, is their passion not their primary occupation. I'm really surprised by the courage and politeness of the team, that come here to read comments like that and still respond in a professional manner, like Tom has just done. I hope that the behaviour of some doesn't discourage you, IXEG team, from the continuous communication and support of your appreciative and happy users. The IXEG 733 is one of the few paywares that screams class and character, very few have that. If you don't recognize what has been achieved so far, and don't inform yourself about what is going to be implemented, at least read your post before you publish it and be civil at the very least.- 135 replies
