  1. This happens to me when I get within twenty knots of the red line while in cruise. It seems as when the speed gets closer to the overspeed indicator, this results in more lift then the autopilot can correct for. The aircraft pitches up and it bleeds off the speed, but then pitches down to get back to the assigned altitude. It then becomes an oscillating cycle until the engines are fully retarded until the aircraft can settle down. Then I usually set the throttle limit back farther then I would wish, but it keeps it under control.
  2. My conspiracy theory is that developers like to make these awesome aircraft for themselves and their closest buds to fly around in and show teaser shots to the community and have a good laugh over a few beers while reading all the salivating replies and the longing for the desire to have the chance to drop it into their own beloved aircraft folder...someday. Work In Progress threads are like a non-nude hand bra strip tease webcam show... You see just enough to know you want it... but you know you'll never get it. Okay theres some more ribbing lol
  3. This all along has been a trick... Really, Tom just started working on v1.5 last week and it won't be ready for another two years. All the while he is laughing at our pleas for an update on the release status.
  4. That is looking awesome!! What kind of navigation are we to expect? Default FMC/Garmin or something a little more?
  5. I am getting very anxious! There is the Yankee Air Museum right by me and they have a flying C-47 named the "Yankee Doodle Dandy." She's a beauty to see fly. They offer rides to museum members and my girlfriend and I are actually scheduled to go up in her in May for $90 a ticket, not bad if you ask me. You get about 40 minutes of air time.
  6. I have that same bug... http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php/topic/2987-route-in-mfd-bug/
  7. It's all your fault
  8. All I know is that I'm just really excited to fly it. I purchased your MU-2 about two weeks ago and I loved it the way it was! I had no complaints and it is a joy to fly. I was ecstatic to read here in this thread that it was being updated to be even more awesome then it already was... something I didn't think was possible.
  9. This is excellent to hear, thanks for all of your hard work!
  10. Much appreciated I figured I could save all the kid's trouble by putting all their questions in my signature, that way these threads wouldn't be filled up with useless posts
  11. I am really impressed and excited to be able to fly this aircraft. I am most excited about the INS, thank you very much for deciding to go along with that. I have had some time with the CIVA INS add-on for Flight Simulator and I must say it was a real treat to be able to use that on the older aircraft to add a whole lot of realism to the sim. And with having it integrated into the 3D panel will just be icing on the cake! Add me to the "will buy immediately" list. Also some liveries I'd like to see, Kalitta Air and Atlas Air. (Sorry I'm a sucker for cargo)
  12. This is great news about XP10. I don't care if it's not "optimized" for it. If I can get in it and fly, then I'm good with that!
  13. Me too. I only have XP10 and I plan on purchasing this aircraft for that platform only.
  14. So it won't initially be available for XP10 upon it's release?
  15. This is in CRJ 1.4.3, OS X 10.7.3 and X-Plane 10 10.04 Beta 3. The MFD route will show correctly for the duration of the flight as long as I have more then 4 points on my route left. It seems as if the MFD route always wants to display four points even if I'm down to only two as shown in the picture of my FMC. As a result, it will show my destination airport multiple times in the MFD and at weird mileages. I can't very well explain, I will let the two attached pictures from two separate flights do the talking.
  16. Excellent.
  17. That could almost pass as a real picture. Top notch, devs!
  18. You'll always have the people who you just can't please no matter what. Try and stay away from the negative threads around the net. I for one absolutely love X-Plane 10 and am not looking back. My biggest advice to you is to just sit back and be patient. X-Plane 10 is completely new and it will take some time..years even for aircraft to be released. With the recent addition of Carenado, Aerosoft and now PMDG, it's only a matter of time until XP10 is full of high quality add-ons. Here within the coming months there will be some stellar aircraft released. There are a few out already that can get you started, take a look at x-aviation. I'm a proud owner of the CRJ, fantastic aircraft. The X-Plane community is growing, we are glad to have you aboard.
  19. I love this plane, it handles very well and is quite smooth.
  20. That works for me!
  21. Okay so I'm not the only one apparently. Muskoka, I still have not received my update through X-Aviation yet either.
  22. Thanks Phillip. I just went over and read that guys post about this bug and it is exactly what I am getting for KDTW. I will just sit tight and wait for 1.4. Other than that one thing I have come across so far, she is a dream to fly.
  23. So I came across a little bit of a weird bug today, not sure if it's the CRJ or Navigraph. I have AIRAC 1113 installed. When you go into the DEP page for KDTW, the SIDs all show correctly, however on the right side of the FMC for the runway selection, they are misinterpreted. At DTW you have 22L/04R, 22R/04L, 21L/03R, 21R/04L, 27R/09L and 27L/09R. All twelve runway selections are there, but they all say either 03L and 03R or 04L and 04R more than once. But if you do start clicking through the list it's almost like a guessing game, you will eventually find lets say 22R even tho the FMC says 04R, once you select it, it will bring up the proper SIDs for that runway. I know this is kind of confusing. Let me know if you need screenshots or if I can further explain it.
