Download the Geforce Experience and it will keep your drivers updated. Mine just updated to 353.30. And X-Plane runs in 4k on my rig like a dream.
-
My son Tristan uses it on his Dell home computer. He has Win7 on his Dell laptop.

I certainly hope so. As he has not been kind to many of those who frequent this forum.

Got PM from Nicholas asking how I knew about this. Told him about Facebook he had been a friend of mine on there for many years. Shared the links with him to prove it. Wonder what he will do now with the proceeds of Heinz`s payware planes ?

Robert. I can't thank you enough for the tip to turn off Threaded Optimization. I have been having a horible time with X=Plane since I got it a couple of weeks ago. No matter what my settings in X Plane were set to, when I got to my destination, the airport would be nothing more than a field, no runway at all,and the surrounding scenery was totally devoid of any features It was always fine when I took off,but on landing there was nothing there. I was just about to give up on X Plane when I saw your tip in the Video cards and drivers section of the forum and I gave it a try. Wow! what a difference! Airports are now displaying as they should, and silky smooth performance and the frame rate is very good now too. I am using the latest drivers (347.25) and they are just fine now with Threaded Optimization turned off,but I have taken note of the 337.88 drivers recomendation just in case. All the best and thank you. Dennis

There is a setting in your drivers that need to be changed. Simple fix. Read this thread over at Avsim. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/460698-solved-stutteringfreezessync-issues-xplane-10-w-nvidia-gpus/ Read post #2

This was posted over at Avsim in the X-Plane forums, I just copied it and pasted it here. Even with my Titan I had the same issue. I will post the entire thread link and you be able read more about it. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/460698-solved-stutteringfreezessync-issues-xplane-10-w-nvidia-gpus/

Heart and Soul of our fix is simple: ROLL DRIVERS BACK to nVidia 337.88 WHQL (Windows Hardware Quality Lab Certified driver) May 26, 2014 available here. This step is VERY important. You do NOT have to uninstall your current nVidia drivers to install this older driver. Just download the file and run it. Tech explanation: Nvidia has been optimizing for Direct X, NOT OpenGL in their most-recent driver releases, the 377.88 driver appears to be the one best-suited to OpenGL which is what drives XPlane 10. Some folks in this thread have said that the newer 9-series cards from NVidia will require a NEWER driver than this one. The nVidia website will ask you to select your gpu series, then model, and 'search' and you will be presented with a list of compatible drivers. If you're having issues as described here, try selecting the oldest COMPATIBLE WHQL driver in the list for your specific graphics card. DO NOT select a 'beta' driver. Right click on any empty spot on your desktop and then left-click on nVidia CONTROL PANEL. Click on the left side of the nVidia control panel 3-D Settings Under the GLOBAL SETTINGS tab, there is a setting "Multi-Display/mixed GPU acceleration". If you use only ONE monitor for EACH PC, select Single PC performance mode. The very next setting is Power management mode, change to Prefer Maximum Performance. Near the bottom of the Global Settings window is Vertical Refresh Rate, select Adaptive (use half refresh rate). This will lock your frames at 30fps. Even though your video card (in our case nVidia GTX 770 and nVidia Titan) is capable of much much higher rates, because we both are using triple computers to drive 3 separate monitors, the goal is to have all three screens in perfect sync with no 'break apart' of the image. Setting frames to 30 on all 3 PCs results in optimal smoothness and synchronization between all three monitors. Finally: REPEAT these steps on each PC that is driving a monitor in your xPlane setup. Please rate this post if you found it helpful. This post is aimed at nVidia 7-series (and older) owners.

Best info in the world about commercial drone use can be found by signing up for this forum. Many commercial users and knowledgeable users here. Been a member for the past 10 years. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/index.php This thread is the most useful one since it directly covers your issue. But with 501 pages to view, use the search function. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1703587 After reading some of that thread, you might have to filter out the BS to get any real info, more pissed piss off users posting. BTW, I have a first gen DJI Phantom 1 and have only used it 3 times. Just never get enough time off work get use to it. Have a Go pro 2 for it.

Thank you so much for bringing this back up since it was posted back in Oct. 25th 2014. Have had no time to produce more since, my workload here is beyond my ability to keep up. Thanks again. Jim

Thanks, had to re-register with the org store to gain access to all my purchases and then find it only goes back a year. With no way to go further back. At least I was able to find my K-Max purchase and download it. And many others that needed updating.
-
Did you happen to read the 178 page PDF with flight manual that is in the folder of the K-Max. It really does not give you any instruction as to how to set up your stick and joystick control sensitivities. I have a feeling that the recent updates to X-Plane 10.31 might be another factor in its handling issues. Since there has been no updates. Think I will send Jim an email about it.
-
Been having the same issue since buying it a long time ago, looking at the org I find no support page for it either. One of the most difficult helicopters to fly for sure. Gave up a long time ago trying to fly it. Slung load or tanker, nothing but crashes.

Forgive my ignororance in this, finding the download in 2 different threads lead to my wondering where the shots were. It should be all in one topic to not not lead to this assumtion. Had no idea that it was all the same as the first. My age beggining to show.
